I learned a great lesson from comic book heroes when I was a boy. My father didn't teach me anything because he was an abusive alcoholic and my mother was always busy ducking punches. I read comic books to get me away from the horror of my household. Comic book heroes taught me to sacrifice for others, they taught me to put others ahead of myself and they taught me to stand up against evil. This was before my Love of my Lord Jesus. I did not worship the heroes but I think they taught me well.

So many can't accept this information. If anyone has any doubts about any of this watch a series called "The mother of all secrets" by Mike Hoggard. The video is on my channel. This message almost always makes people very uncomfortable. One must realize, there are many things that God says shouldn't be done, he doesn't say it can't be done. Just like we are not to communicate with the dead, some say we can't do that, yes we can but we SHOULD NOT.

Thank you for opening my eyes to this deception. I personally have not seen the movie or read the book, but I have relatives that are Christians and they are heavily into all of this. You speak the truth and many will not like it, but the days are becoming dark and the lines are getting blurred. I will hold you up in prayer and pass along this vid..

The other thing I must point out is that despite what many believe, Genesis 6:4 does not speak of human/angelic hybrids. The context does not allow this, and neither does the original Hebrew. We get the translation "giants" from a mistranslation found in the Septuagint. It leads to a false understanding and interpretation of the passage. Even in the world of natural biology, certain creatures have been barred from mating and reproducing, even if they are in the same class.

@Nephtali1981 LOL...Naww, brother I'm the Christian Road Warrior...I can slap both kane and undertaker down. No competition. Anyway, from the context most other passage refer to angelic beings. However, what determines the meaning is context. In Genesis the text does not warrant an angelic/human mixture. Notice how God never condemns any angels in the text, but only "men." Verse 5 is key because if humans and angels were sinning there, then BOTH should have been referred to, not just humans

I love you, brother, but I believe you are stretching with some of the commentary. It's all too easy to read back into movies what you believe. As a fan of Spiderman comics, and the movies, I have seen very good things in this movie. Stories of the importance of character, friendship, and forgiveness. So to be fair, you can't ignore these things, while attempted to "expose" what's claimed to be occultic. Everything is not occultic, and you need some solid evidence for such claims.

You know Tali....this is also reminiscent of the mythological gods of many cultures. Where did all these ideas come from? I think Gen 6 is indeed the root memory or what have you regarding these things.

@Inga4020 yes, alot of those mythological gods in my humble opinion derive from the fallen angels, just as there are over 600 global accounts of the global flood with different stories, but all pointing to the same thing, same here. Alot of wicans actually worship the God's of olympus, not all but some not knowing that they are worshiping pagan idols

@pinalo2009 I don't listen to the news, I normally catch up on things on here. I don't have a TV as I gotten rid of it. Even I noticed a lot of sci-fis seems to have stuff in there too. I have experienced heresies in religion in my time which I am no longer with.
