Yes, TRTAS, it's faster just to do the secret flare-trigger. Keep Duck held so she doesn't bug up; then after the secrets chimes, crawl out of the corner and dash to EoL. But chreden has said it might be faster to place both flares, bug to the Cathedral key, and then crawl into a corner of the central column. EoL would occur a second or two after the secret because the first flare would be closer to going out (needed for the 2nd flare to work).
Are you sure EOL was triggered with the flare? As I think you just triggered EOL with normal a normal trigger bug. Because else it should work right after eachother right?
Thanks for your research. Though I don't understand the point of the EOL one? Is it just to prove two triggers can be done concurrently? Because it seems slower than just going to it. :p
