I don't care about Valentine's day. When I was with my lovely ex-girlfriend for 6 months, she knew that I wouldn't celebrate Valentine's Day, because I didn't think I needed a speciel date to spoil her. I got her a ring the day after Valentine's Day, just to keep my principals. I thought every day with her was like Valentine's Day. You cannot put a mark on love. I still love the shit out of this song.

I might only be in college now but god, I love this song(and bruce in general). When I get older and settle down, and this song becomes a song I can relate to on a more deeper and personal level.. I really don't think I'll be able to marry a woman who would listen to this song and not agree to have this played at our wedding. Some people want some tacky country song at a wedding, Me? I'd want this. Played loud and a slow dance.

loved this song the first time i heard it -- the day the Tunnel of Love was released. Simply one of the most beautiful songs of all time. Valentine's Day didn't even get a sniff of airplay. Everyone's loss. And Tunnel of Love is certainly Bruce's must underrated album of all time -- and one of his greatest albums.

You are right. Tunnes of Love is MY favourite album from Bruce. A real gem,very underrated. Plus,it's the only "love" album i know with really great lyrics, not naìve at all...wonderful album.

We saw him in Manchester last year and she spent all night in the toilet! I was draped in my American flag, singing and dancing in the rain amongst a throng of bemused older Bruce fans! It was my 1st Bruce gig and it was a enthralling experience. I saw him again in Glasgow in July and I left the girlfriend at home and went with a mate!

Tunnel of Love ..... one of the greatest albums in the Springsteen library. No fan should be wothout this one. My personal favorite is One Step Up, the lyrics are haunting if you happen to be married about one year.
