Yes, thank you! I knew there was an extra melody line missing from the EastEnders theme. The one from 0:22 to 0:33. I think that that melody used to be in the EastEnders outro around 2002, but not any more.

the melody from 0.22 to 0.33 hasn't been used since the tune was changed to the 'jazzy' one in early 1993. when the theme changed back to the old style one (but obviously a new recording as it is today) it never reappeared. It was replaced with two lots of the 2.15 to 2.20 melody for the omnibus which ran to 1.28,(see vid under 'Eastender Theme 2008') sadly today the omnibus tune is only about 45 secs long after being further reduced a couple of times :(. Personally i miss the missing melody!
