  • Looks like it is coming along really nice. Tire rubber might work. But you never know. Always have a back up plan in place. Great Video. Take Care.

  • wouldnt tire rubber be too floppy and weak

  • I'll cut the rubber into circular pieces. I just need a rubber pad to avoid metal to metal contact between the mounting surfaces. On production cars, thick soft rubber is used to rid vibration for driver comfort.
