  • Nothing like Soma and sex all the time mmmm

  • still @ 59 minutes mark watching and already the names "Rockefeller, Rotschild, Disney" have come up. Interesting choice of names.

  • That's Julie from Welcome Back Kotter..

  • I am sure that Soma tablets exist already, a mixture of Hemp+Martini drops+Magriffe du Carven; the Perfect Solution !!!

  • this could be the future of children's children if we won't stop the zionists creating the New World Order,

  • @rapcity041 Take a look around mate, it's already here...

  • @rapcity041 If we don't stop bigoted attitudes like you're displaying

  • I'm only an hour through this, but is it me or is this entirely different from the novel??

  • @Stillwater900 I reckon it's entirely based on the novel.

  • @guiriquita Maybe I'm confusing it with 1984, but it seems very different from the novel

  • I don't remember any of this in the novel?

  • I COME FROM THE FUTURE TO SHARE WITH YOU THIS KNOWLEDGE; YOU ARE LIVING IN THE PAST BEFORE MY LIFETIME

  • The acting isn't very good in the future

  • Lol!! I'm sorry, the village from Beyond Thunderdome a Shakespearean poet doth not make XD

Why oh why did he have to speak in that stupid accent??! I was almost able to drop my suspension of disbelief a bit until I saw this: 1:23:14

  • 1:02:15 Yeah, American Gladiators makes me murderously angry too.

  • Reb fucking Brown in Brave New World... that's just hilarious!

I kinda wish they made Marx's rebelliousness against the society more subtle, though. He's more different from the rest of them than he'd realistically be, considering he's never been exposed to concepts like sexual modesty and therefore should feel more conflicted about his desire to BE modest. This kinda hits you over the head with its obviousness.

  • Hey wait... at 0:54:12. Is that... REB BROWN??

God, doesn't he show up in the damndest places!

Okay, NOW it's an 80's movie lol!! XD

  • Wow, 1980? This was the best they could do in 1980? I know this was made on a TV budget, but really... I guess it must be a stylistic preference, but I keep thinking this looks more like it would have been made in the early 70s.

  • If such a society were true to its word, mankind would perish by its own design because if we think for a moment, mankind has no real function in nature other than cycling through the elements until the one day when we all become extinct. The same with all other life.

  • @KontoZbanowane, The author of the book attacked Fascists of Italy,Germany and Spain. Therefore,it is based on that particular template. Huxley did foresee something else more dangerous which has been manifesting itself over time. Huxley has also attacked communism in his essay written years later. Both systems and the foreseen system(scientific capitalism) is the target of Huxley's critique.

  • This is scientific capitalism and compared to its opposite: Scientific Socialism. Scientific capitalism is the total control of society by corporations the very entity in the film which controls the lives of the HUMAN CAPITAL(workers and citizens). State control, scientific socialism, is no different from its opposite: Corporate control of the state and therefore society. The common denominator being the negation of natural rights of human or sentient beings.

  • Frakken prophetic!

  • "im justabeta" lol and i love her for it..lol

  • i love all the comments on this page

  • This doesn't even come close to doing the novel justice.

  • WE NEED A REMAKE OF THIS MOVIE THAT IS WAY MORE SERIOUS, IT'S TIME.

  • The pillars of consumer society of the 21st Century described in this Brave New World

  • Quote from BNW; "don't delay, consume today, use it up and through it away" . Ring any bells? A. H. was so astute in his thinking, and ahead of his time. The western world's behaviour, and gluttony for filling its ego sickens me to the core. In the British news the other day, a man was jailed for child rape: a 14 month old girl. Something has to change and quick. Who can be happy living alongside people who could do such a horrific act. Stop the world we need to through some people off, please

  • @tinderfungus Are you blaming the economic system of private property rights and free trade for the rape of a baby girl? I suppose you blame the existence of alcohol for alcoholism, rather than say, individual choice? You must also blame knives for stabbing and guns for murder. Which in turn means you must blame the baby for this horrible act you speak of.

  • The Alpha (natural sciences) the betas (social sciences) the gamma (stopped at high school) and the epsilon (quit school). Each have a specific job, Scientist, secretary, caretaker and so on. As they say in this movie (1:08:40min) ''everyone as everything so no one wants anything'' is an example of how imagination and dreams are a forbidden concept in this brave new world. But whatever happens, in the end, life will always escape and find freedom because it can't be controlled...

  • @draksenzakura It happens already...the class division you evoke, Sir. In 'Brave New World' simply they help Nature to avoid imagination's human errances......May the only point of dreamed freedom is the extreme lack of fantasy (different from imagination) in the proposed collective order. But did you not notice we are building it just now in these years of egalitarian globality? Ready for soma tablets?

  • @sinoples It's not called Soma in our world. It is Dopamine. An organic chemical present in our brain. It basically makes you happy. Search for it on google, dopamine and junk food (why is junk food addictive) dopamine and Facebook or internet... It's everywhere they try to make your brain use it more often, in the end it creates a docile society.

  • @draksenzakura Oh thanks for your data...let me have a look on Google. But I prefer to call itmore ludic manner, humosously, Soma. In ancient Vedas it evoked as being a kind of elixir that Devas (Gods for your world) use to drink as a complement of their eternal youth/happiness. I am sure is possible eo produde it in great scale and not only as austere Dopamina. Hemp coudl be a prt of the ingredients...once these rulers come to understand its benefits. Thanks for your comment *!*

  • Were are the humans in this movie ?? Seriously. Those ''people'' (?) act like robots, emotions are repressed and they don't even accept themselves as animals part of nature. This world is the ultimate conclusion of our world now. This perfect world is a world without humanity and imagination doesn't exist. This is exactly the world that Karl Marx talked about when he was describing capitalism and its classrank world.

  • @draksenzakura Capitalism isn't the enemy. Totalitarianism is the enemy. Capitalism can't exist in a dictatorship, because it is based on free, voluntary exchanges.

  • @orange11emilie Of course it can.... Did you though Hitler was communist?! No he was a capitalist and applied dictatorchip, he courted rich industrialists, who saw the theat of a militant communist movement, fascism was merely an extension of the capitalist system. Quote from the movie''don't delay, consume today, use it up and through it away'' is the exact ''spirit'' of capitalist society. Also let's not forget that capitalism is a classrank society your are ruled and not completely free.

  • @orange11emilie Capitalism is the dictatorship of the bourgeoisie, rich industries own the resources of this planet and they own YOU. Capitalism is private ownership so this free market thing is bullshit. Capitalism encourages competitive market and individualism not cooperation. Capitalism might not be the exact economic system of this futuristic society but it is the transition that will lead us to this.

  • @draksenzakura

maybe you're genuine but the crap your saying sounds a whole lot like socialist propaganda.

There are certainty huge problems with this country but capitalism is not the root cause.

Corruption is the problem no matter what the economic system is.

Capitalism is not the greatest thing ever and definitely not perfect but it is certainty better then socialism.

  • @ecpruthless Im not a genius and i've never mentioned socialism did I?? Capitalism is the main cause of global warming and destruction of our planet ressources encouraged by this consumerist and materialist society. It is the main problem why countries engage in wars, only someone stupid would tell you that wars are not economically benefits.

  • @ecpruthless Not to mention it is the cause of poverty and sickness. Why would we want to find a cure for cancer? To impact negatively the economy no thanks! If a cure was found, all the administration buildings, the scientists, research programs, laboratories and OF COURSE the sick people paying tones fo money for the medics just so they can live a little longer all this would affect the economy. This was just an example and there are many others.

  • @ecpruthless Economy is the basis of how we live and share together. If a system encourages competition and individualism. Then its society would follow those behaviour. You find normal that some sick people have actually to pay money to buy medics etc ?! They have to pay money or they die... I don't find this correct we should help them and give them the medics. You find normal that african people have to hardly work in order to buy few foods to survive and not die?!

  • @ecpruthless You find normal that we (the people aroudn the world) have to work all day until we are 75 years old just to get some fucking green toilet paper in order to survive?! In the mean time, the elite of this world is more and more rich and we become slaves of our own world. You find normal that our HUMAN RIGHTS to live FREE have to be earned by paying money? The if you don,t have money what happens tell me.... You die. Either you follow the system or you die that's it.

  • @draksenzakura Clueless morons are one thing.... but when they are pious as you, it's truly insufferable. Where did your laptop come from? Evil capitalists. Stop whining.

  • @draksenzakura Read the book, it'll make more sense

  • @draksenzakura Well if you were created in a glass dish by technicians, brainwashed from birth you'd act less human too.Believe me,people in America,Russia,China,UK,France,Japan,Germanyetc today don't act the way they did 20,30,40,50,60 years ago.We are always changing & the changes now come at a very fast rate so its hard to compare today to last week's human behaviour.

  • @draksenzakura

    Shut up, stupid commie.

  • interesting program.

  • Soma= Hemp.

    The solution. Why not ?

  • Quite attractive these actors....a perefect world, why not after all... ?

  • @sinoples Why not? Whoa, you didn't get the point of this story at all, did you?

  • @Serai3 Another ill humored key-warrior? What you did not get, Sir, is the art of answering gently. If you are so sure of the point so explain it.

  • Oh man I want to watch this but I still have not finished the book! 30 pages to go...

  • Very good dramatization. It is easy to condition each generation through the young in schools. They accept the present not having a past to judge with until too old to remove most of the conditioning they have received. That is why slowly our society of freedom and the individual is changing to socialism and the whole.

  • "Deterge serials" hehehe.

  • As many of you know Aldous Huxley was a Fabian socialist. The book I have suggested in the below comment is written by an American Patriot. In 1994 87% of congress on both sides were fabian socialists. You are being destroyed from the inside.Your enemy is in your schools in your government in your banking system and soon will be in your homes.READ THE BOOK!!! it is FREE because he cares about YOU.At least read a chapter if you can still manage it!

  • if u abstract from the obvious linguistic perversions and futuristic setting, this is basically a documentary about the current world order.

    loved it!

  • 1:27:52 maybe you prefer the View? (it really is a dystopia)

  • THIS MOVIE WAS A COMPLETE MIND FUCK,

  • @MrJeramiahx

Did they use a mind condom?

  • Excellent form of riot control at 2:35:20 to 2:37:00 and again at 2:54:15.

  • Hell on Earth is here..

    Total Collapse . com

  • I was off the KPI radar Viva BEING HUMAN! Not a number, a category or a machine!

  • @Wisemanifold ROFLMAO

So, back on the dole, huh?

    You 'rebel', you.

  • Working for the Disney Store Warehouse , where we were searched on a regular basis,We were spied on by hidden cameras, whenever I chatted to someone, one of the supervisors (all nice but ambitious young Polish persons in the global economy in the UK) would tell me off, until I got a final warning, even though I did the work required. Watching this film, I,m glad I messed up, with the technology, did so called menial jobs instead.

  • A very faithful representation of the book. Still my favorite novel - such beautiful concepts and a thoughtful message about ourselves and the possibilities of our nature..

  • a masterpiece anyway

  • this is much better than 1998 version. its has the right mood and the concepts display better

  • Ah wouldna mind one of them Alpha ladies... or 7 a week.

  • Poor old John, he is so uptight! I blame Shakespeare and Elizabethan morality.

  • 7 more reasons to use condoms :)

  • approximately 1:50:00←so unethical!!!

  • awwwwww little John is cutter...lol

  • FEMA prisons, FEMA body bags, FEMA coffins, FEMA mental institutes (Ak) and laws that prohibit giving wrong birthday, wrong name on Internet even for ID protection - and a law enforcement that cares not to stop identity theft via Internet. McCain and Levin's bill written behind closed doors and passed by senate -

Jeepers creepers - we are already here and dont know it. Open 9-11 investigation.

If anyone speaks poorly of the govt - 5 years in jail or re-education center.

  • Oh Bud. He could use weights.

  • In the future, everybody has spaghetti arms.

  • You have to be a TRUE Alpha to pull off wearing those faggoty yellow tights!

    Tom David

    Minneapolis

  • This is what we're headed towards, fellas.

  • 2001--Keir Dullea!

  • The Island

  • Anyone else thinking of the first scene of Eddie Murphy's "Boomerang" right at the 15 minute mark?

  • WHY IS THE ACCENT AMERICAN????????????

  • wow, look at those bell bottoms XD!

  • adolf rockaffeller you here that

  • Great film. Thanks.

There is a stampede of reproductions of films and books in a campaign to 'dezionize'

the originals and older renditions. To capture the 'light' to a more 'worthy gang' so reflecting the new 'zeitgeist ' were their 'chosen' status is unassailable .

    "By Deception"....

  • @theoutremerlibrary 'blimey!' 'that's' 'a' 'lot' of 'quotes'. Where exactly are you quoting from?

  • I like this version much better than the 1998 one!

  • Rothchild, Marx, Exxon did anyone catch these last names of these people? The worship of the Model T. Ford! Wow, I have got to get my hands on the book.

  • @rayemck Yes and firestone and Disney hmmm

  • @rayemck definitely, it completely changed the way i viewed the world when i was in high school..

  • Ringo? Bowie? Jagger? What is up with that? @ 00:03:37

  • Psychopathic, megalomaniacs have a lot of sick, insane and awful ideas. Why people listen to them or allow them to peruse their desires of power, unchecked is due to the fallen spirit and morale of all who ever watched television and read a newspaper. The world is full of scum and crud at the 'so-called' top. Nothing changes for those who are the subjects of these creatures. Used, abused, culled like the human resource we all are unless the system is removed. RESIST.

  • Happiness is never grand, can't compare 2 tragedy,

Nothing like the stories 'bout struggles with temptations,

    Love's as good as Soma......

  • That Huxley family, naughty ol' rascals...

  • Thanks for posting this! I had never seen it before tonight and the ending had me in tears...it was a grand tale indeed. My hat off to you, BLIU!

  • nice movie love morgan freeman in it!!

  • Thanks for posting this. I only ever saw part 1 in 1980. Now finally I get to see the whole thing start to finish. It's a good story, but man was production really that basic back then? The memory fades as I remember this as being cutting edge at the time. ha ha. Will now watch the more recent film. I wonder how they will compare?

  • Isn't Bernard born already in the book?

  • yep this version definitely sticks to the book better

  • Kinda crappy acting.

  • He was againt materialism and distortion of human values. He understood that sex wasn't everything and that being a slave to ones desire was worse than anything. Look at America today, very materialistic society. Great movie, made me realize how muh I love my family.

  • Huxley was a proponent of the NWO. He believed the things he wrote about were inevitable and the natural order of things. there's nothing brave new or about the dystopia he actively promoted in his propaganda novel. It probably wasn't even his ideas. Elitist criminal.

  • @chunkyification I've just finished watching an interview with Huxley from 1958. To be honest, he didn't seem to be advocating world dictatorship. He seemed to be sternly warning against it. Brave New World wasn't a blue print, or a manifesto. It's a warning. That said, I did hear that Huxley was pro eugenics, although I'd have to read up on that.

  • @WarrenCromartie2 i read he was tutored by hg. wells. but in a brave new world narration by him it seems like it is a warning. but he has some sketchy ties. n sketchy quotes. and he stands out because a brave new world first introduced the concept of slaves loving their servitude...idk. he was aprt of the fabin society. but all i know is that he was trying to say something.

  • @VaderNocturnas He was part of the Fabien Socialist crew, but within any ideology there are key differences, and disagreements. Now, Wells on the other hand was obviously a fan of the New Word Order, as his book of the same name suggests. He said that only a transition to one world government would prevent future wars. There's plenty of evidence to put Wells in the frame, and his eugenics loving wife, but there is no actual evidence to suggest Huxley agreed. I've only ever heard him warning!

  • @WarrenCromartie2 for the majority i have to. but huxley does say its the best choice to prevent human extinction. and he believed overpopulation was a problem, and he wanted to make eugenics thinkable again, because of what hitler had done in germany. and may have came up with the word transhumanism. nopt sure about that one though. heres one interview. and in a speech called brave new world revisited he says some interesting things that might catch your eye.

  • @WarrenCromartie2 look for The Age of Transitions on youtube

    /watch?v=AdzepK-LVtU&feature=autoplay&list=WL96DB2C31E5E8CCF9&lf=feedwll&playnext=1

  • @WarrenCromartie2 You should read island. IT advocates unity and the utopian ideas. It is fantastic. Aldous Huxley is a huge inspiration. And; finally, ONLY ON YOUTUBE would people ACTUALLY THINK something so negative of such a great man. Am I right?

  • @WarrenCromartie2 He was interested in eugenics if it helped towards the bettering of society. He in no sense advocated a dictatorial society using this autocratically. Anyone who has read much of Huxley could not but see what a genuine liberator he was.The efforts of some to portray him as the an advocate of the tyrannical forces he always sought to warn against are peurile - people more interested in conspiracy theories as an esoteric hobby thanlike Huxley educating & liberating themselves.

  • @WarrenCromartie2 Read Huxley's "Island" to see what he really thought.

  • @WarrenCromartie2 Misinformation all over the place.

    Huxley FOR eugenics?lol

Huxley was one of the good guys and Brave New World is a warning and a prediction, on HIW OWN WORLDS, of what the world was becoming, and unfortunately he was spot on. Get informed correctly, come on, Huxley even explicitly wrote that 30 years later, on "Brave New World Revisited" that his fears were becoming true...

  • @WarrenCromartie2 that was his brother julian huxley

  • @WarrenCromartie2 keep watching the interviews especial his later ones and he gets the evil gril grin and smile at certain points

  • @WarrenCromartie2 read his letters to/from C.S. Lewis. Very telling. I thought he would be anti NWO and all that, but it seems not to be the case.

  • @chunkyification Ummmmmm, What? Where'd you get that from a novel which portrays all those things as terrifying and evil?

  • So all the perfect people are sex crazed and engage in orgys. Exactly like politicians and the grove

  • I have read this book from Aldous Huxley's, fantastic as he predicted the future very similar like we are living now.Thank's for post this video.

  • great post thank youuu bliuuu

  • I was given the gift of teaching this book to 8th grade students in San Francisco, California -- most of the students, but not all, were from East Asian countries... China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand. Some of the students enjoyed the book, and found it disturbing. Other students couldn't care less. One student said she would want to be a Gamma. Parents were happy I assigned an advanced reading book for their kids.

  • @Louielounge Said he wanted to be a Gamma? Really? What was the child like?

  • @MutleeIsTheAntiGod She was the only African-American girl in the class, about 14. Her favorite movie was the recent remake of Cinderella -- all white people. She didn't want to work hard. She just wanted a boyfriend out of life. She often interrupted class with frivolous girl talk about boys, and though she would also participate, she was not the best student in the classroom. She really wanted to be a "C" student. And why not? George Bush was a "C" student. And he was a president.

  • Fuck 1984.

  • Thanks so much bro, love Aldous...love this book

  • Thanks from me also.

  • although I don´t believe they actually allow them to go to a free island and do anything they want and read anything they want. I rather think they torture them and kill them painfully and slowly sending them in some concentration camp like Gulag or Auschwitz ... they only make this ending so they could fool you participating in to the Brave new world or the New world order whatever they choose to call it ;)

  • @MyttenBG

yeah i was thinking the "islands" are actually concentration camps for people who pose a threat to the norm of this brave new world.

  • 2.32.50 great moment :) it so much relates to life now days with all the abuse of these anti depressants and prescription/non prescription drugs. also the scene where he departs with his mother was so good I could almost cry. almost as good as the death scene from ¨Zorba the Greek¨. As a whole the film is much much better than itś modern 1998 version, which was so out of touch with the real book. Thumb up for the upload :)

  • How does One get this on DVD? is There such a thing?

  • ahhhh this was like watching paint dry... ohh Soma.. i love this movie.. ( Makes sign of (T) )

  • I want an amphetipep pill

  • this is now our reality!

  • john is one stupid mofo .....

  • lol @ "semi morons"

  • Thank you from Greece :)

  • Thanks for posting this.

  • @Maat922 You're more than welcome, Maat. :)
