Huh? That's weird, a guy i know with a 07 Imola Yellow h's put 40K + miles on it and has had no problem with carbon build up. I doubt this but were you running some off brand low grade gas? As for the suspension he put H&R coils on it a few weeks after he got it so im not sure about that.
@suzuki400boi he DEFINITELY had carbon issues and just was not sensative enough to realize he was losing HP, it takes only about 9k miles for the carbon to build up after it has been cleaned. its not about if it happens, it IS going to happen its just the nature of the FSI motors.
Nope, never had 1 issue with Carbon? And no he hasn't lost any power, and if you did, it'd be what...2-3hp? Definetly not noticeable, i don't care how "sensitive" you are The car has REVO now soo.....If any power was lost it's been gained back.
@suzuki400boi more like a documented average of 30-40 hp lost over time with carbon build up. The RS4 is already too heavy and too underpowered enough with 420hp it can't afford to lose any hp! Confirmed with before and after dynos, check out the RS4 forum on Quattroworld and you'll see.
What does it sound like at high gear , low rpms. Cruising speed???

@mkai4492 I haven't had the RS4 since 2009 I replaced it with a GT-R.

Don't have the RS4 anymore. Had too many problems with carbon build up and the DCR suspension.
Replaced it with a GT-R. Need to get some video of that exhaust sound now!
