I don't think the newer generations are not creative, I just don't like them as much as the first and second generation pokemon. The third generation pokemon are cool too, but again I don't like them as much as the previous generations.

I might be the only one who thinks this, but the fourth generation was a huge disappointment, not only in pokemon design, but in a lot of ways. The fifth generation was much better, though, so I guess that was just a one time fail. :P

@Kuniku778 Dude, I say it's a perfect pokemon for Unova, why? Because this damn nation is plighted by garbage. It was inevitable that even Nintendo/Game Freak took notice. Sludge isn't the real issue which was it was in Gen 1. Trash IS a major problem here. Too many landfills! Sure we have space to spare but seriously we waste way too quickly. Unova is New York. Which is a collection of countries and traditions. Which is why Gen 5 is the most down-to-earth generation in Pokémon.

I just play then when im off season for my job, but the discution wasn't weather it fit but more on how creative they where with the design. While its good humer for those that get the joke. It doesn't change the fact that its lazy design. and i agree that grimer was a bad idea for a pokemon. but it was more inetresting than a trash bag. (excuse my mispelled words)
