i would have been going completely fucking nuts if i was one of the lucky few who got to be at this small kick ass gig! i'v been a fan for 17 years and have seen green day lvecountless times, but nothing beats the really small venues and secret gigs. this brings me back....*wanders off to listen to 1039, kerplunk, dookie and insomniac and wax nostalgia*

'Know Your Enemy' is catchy is all. They used 'American Idiot' for the same reason. So it gets stuck in peoples head. 'American Idiot' wasn't the best song on that album, It will be the same with '21st Century Breakdown'. The other songs sound so good. Like old Green Day :)

Welcome To Paradise has always been in my Top 3 Favorite Green Day Songs... Thats one thing I missed at the 04' and '05 A.I. Tours that came to Philadelphia... NO WELCOME TO PARADISE!!!!

haha yea i was the one who got pulled up on stage by Billie to play Guitar while he sang the rest of Knowledge. The drummer they pulled up was some random kid who was decent and the Bassist was Jon Runyan of the Philadelphia Eagles Football team... his leg was injured so he was on the side stage watching before they asked him to play bass! I rocked out so much in front of 12,000+ people and played/sang with my idol B.J.! Then i did a split kick in the air off an amp to end the song haha...

But using another guitarist gives a better live sound. And as he was asked to be a permanent member and even though he turned them down, I feel that shows how highly the trio think of him. He may have even provided Guitar inspiration on certain riffs on some songs in the past, you don't know. I personally value him highly in making Green Day live what they are.

Sorry, folks. This is the only full song that I filmed. Security got hardcore when they launched into the new album, and I was politely asked to stop filming. A guy next to me who did not comply was rewarded ten or so minutes later by having his ass beat, his gear likely destroyed, and being hauled out into the street. The security dude then came back and threw his friend out as well, just for good measure!
