  • Winning Time XD

  • Lol did he say "what's up nerds?" xD

  • @Danukar Yes.

  • Back again!!! Hahahaa. So, I'm almost sub 15 now, and am still having trouble with being efficient. I know I do more moves than I need to because my look ahead still isn't great. I have a hard time seeing more than one pair at a time to decide if there are better choices than the ones I made.

  • How many cubes do you have?

  • haha erik is fail :D

  • True tower cube

  • too fast man. you didnt even show which corner you are solving. -__-

  • @lamkafeira It's an EXPERT Tutorial for F2L if it's too fast go and watch my beginners Tutorial for F2L first I suggest

  • he gast, doe het gewoon in het nederlands! klink veel beter :-)

  • Comment removed

  • Thank youvery much for videos like this

  • sometimes I didn't knew if he was mixing or solving ..but liked it! :D

  • what oll and pll's do you use? like what site did you get them off (or did you make your own)?

  • lol "hello nerds"

I've found a way to speed up the issue: I've invented a new oll that always succeeds in every way. and a PLL only way that you must learn for the corners because the middle are always good. if you want to know how. answer

  • @wanik10 Hoe dan? :)

  • ingleses de mierda hablan solo con ammhh ahmmm parecen perras mierdaa pero alemnos me sirvio tu video gracias por los consejos man

  • much to fast

  • how fast should we finish f2l .in chris hardwicks page his 17 second solve had 14 seconds f2l.please help me and many others like me.please thumbs up

  • What's up nerds!

  • explain more fast -_-

  • bro i dont know whether i m being lazy or no but i have been learning this f2l method for tha past 3 months and till now i my single solve record is 33 secs and i have been learning the cube for last two years m i doin good or there is sumthin goin on wrong pls do reply

    thank u

  • @jugrajsingh1 - After 2 years, going by the "average" cuber, you should be in the 20's. What do you do for the LL? If you want to get faster, you need to learn OLL and PLL (for Fridrich).

  • @jugrajsingh1 i started last july or august and my single solve record (non prepared) is 17.88 seconds.... my "normal" solves are around 30. i use intuitive f2l and 4lll, i only know 7 algorithms for oll and pll combined

i think you should just do f2l every solve and improve on that, then slowly start learning OLL and PLL.

  • Erik, fix your bed first.

  • :SS how many algorithms.... how can i learn them??

  • That's epic... 3:10... he's like "heck with it I'll just finish the cube faster than the camera can record the frames."

  • transforming the intuitive in algs. You can just learn the intuitive and spend 4 days training instead of spend you life trying to get the algs and train them.

My time isn't very good because I do the 2-look OLL and PLL, but I can say that the intuitive F2L is fast to learn and fast to get a very better time than the basic method.

If you want to do like this, you can, but it's not an expert F2L tutorial.

  • I just LOVE the seconds from 3:07 to 3:10 where he solves the cube - just by the way while explaining sth. else.

It's like: "I showed you the four F2L cases and just CAN'T put the cube aside without solving the last layer" xD

  • where can I get a page with all alg I need to know? if it would be possible the same that you learned from ;)

  • @Thefuturemetalking if you think you learn F2L by algs, don't watch an EXPERT vid and start with the beginners vid which is the video response.

  • @Thefuturemetalking cubewhiz.com

  • @Thefuturemetalking check cubewhiz.com. they have algs for everything

  • Isnt F2L without algorithms> or is it just faster?

  • Tuc

    Tuc

    Tuc

    Tuc

  • all the way baby :P

  • And again, to the end.

  • that's one lucky cube...

  • "Hey what up nerds!" LOLZ

  • holy shit your fast

  • @chrisgeorge9 He used to have the world record, of course he's fast lol

  • where can I finde writen tutorial?

  • does anyone know which cube hes using in this video

  • You always use either white or yellow as your cross face? I always thought it was considered faster to not be biased to one or two colors. Obviously you are very fast though. Do you think it is better if you can get yourself used to all colors of cross?

  • @dannyb21892 Yes, it is better. But it is hard. Opposite colors are quite easy, you can avoid really bad cases. But if you learn all colors i think you would spare 1 cross move per solve. But the inspection of 6 faces in 12 seconds isn't simple, I just think that 1 move isn't worth of everything.

  • THE CUBE IS BURNING!!!

  • which cubes do u prefer?

  • I can't believe I'm back, watching this AGAIN. ALL THE WAY TO THE END.

  • Please respond to this message. YOU IZ MAH HERO :D

  • its annoying every time with a good video there is a commercial on it i thought that was only on tv...

  • It's true, being able to do tricks from any angle is so much faster. Take that first trick you showed as an example.

    FR slot: R U2 R' U' R U R'

    BR slot: R' U2 R U R' U' R

(notice all the primes and normals are switched)

    FL: L' U2 L U L' U' L

    BL: L U2 L' U' L U L'

  • is this the technique he used to set the world record?

  • OMG I love his T perm O.O hahahahah so fast T_T Still trying to do it that fast but always got a lock ~_~

  • u have alot of cubes

  • CAN you plz!! Just go slower?? I come from HOLLAND and even then I didn't understand a shit of it!!

  • @GiaIsTheBest - I understood everything he did. It's all about how much you already know and practice. You probably aren't ready for this yet. I agree that he does go fast, though.

  • haha hey what up nerds

  • Nice tutorial. Combining it with others on youtube you perfectly understand this method.

  • @ 0:55, you have a hybrid cube at the top. Is it good??? Main cube?

  • Erik, i guess your hand is too fast and it's quite hard for me to follow

  • I watched the whole video. Good tutorial.

  • what type do you use? all of those cubes was hybrid?

  • I use the look ahead with my F2L and do it in about 20-25 seconds the 2-look OLL and the 1 look PLL and avg about 45secs ive been trying reall y hard lately to get sub 40 and i thought if do u have any ideas on how i can get faster pls reply

  • Something else I just thought of:

When the corner and edge are in the wrong relationship to eachother- like R U R' would put the corner on the wrong side, most people hide the edge, move the corner, unjust the edge, then pair them up and insert them. You don't always have to hid the edge though, you can hide the corner sometimes, if the right slots are empty.

Yea I don't think I explained that very well. I might make a vid on F2L tricks if I ever get around to setting up my box-tripod thing. P

  • very good tricks, i became 10 seconds better :D thanks for the tricks :)

  • Great video. Would love a video review of the new generation of cubes in your opinion...FII, lone goose, A5, etc. Keep up the good work and hope your having a gr8 summer!

  • really thanks helped me alot

    do you have any website

  • For the first real case i just use F R U R' U' F' ?

  • what kind of cubes do you use

  • woop woop! bfore this vid (a week ago) my pb was 38 seconds! now my pb is 27 seconds!

  • rofl @ 19:45

  • i watched the whole video XD

  • awesome tutorial!!! haha i learned alot from it!!!!

  • You always make me feel like such a loser when I get near the end, and you're saying how most people probably stopped watching already.

  • Keeping it simple stupid! LOL i love that commercial!

    awesome tips man Thanks :D

  • dude you are wayy tooo epic! :) ive been doing the advanced method for some time now with an average of 23 seconds and this video is still too advanced for me it seems..keep up the good work though..

  • reqally good video but sometimes a bit to fast :P

  • @cuber42 Thats why its an expert video dude -_-

  • thanks for calling me a nerd

  • lol..."hey, what up nerds?"

  • I wish i ever can get as good as you! Ur so awesome!! Soo fast my eyes hurt! I wanna do that too xD

  • praat gewoon nederlands XD

  • Hm.. What was that alg at 3:06?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I don't want to read through all those pages. ;)

  • @MortenArborg Don't be lazy

  • @frk17 Lol?

  • @MortenArborg press cntrl+F write in the box that appears 3:06 and find the one with the answer :)

    Good job Erik!

  • @MortenArborg LÅL

  • I notice you use F to solve some of the cases for f2l,arent you only suppose to only use R and U moves to keep it comfortable?

  • @Gaurdian518 ... that's what I'm explaining like 5 times in the video... the choice between 1. cube rotation + RU moves or 2. no cube rotation and do an F move...

  • I notice you solve some f2l cases using F,is that really a good thing since the people I asked said only to use R and U moves for f2l?

  • i have no idea what you said please talk simpler my brain hurts. D:

  • hmm i wanna guess...all i can see (maybe) by seeing the logo...u...have the c4u DIY,rubik's cube DIY,and...rubiks studio

  • thx i learned a lot i should use that maybe i could go faster, but not as fast as u

  • what is the name of the person uses the complex method ?

  • Breandan Vallance

  • are you complete F2L by multislotting?? thats crazy!!

  • fastest hands ever

    o.o"

  • @trinisty thats what she said

  • AHAHAHAHA@!!!

  • In the beginning did he say " Hey whats up nerds???"

  • @rubixluver123 Yea haha

  • yeah...LOL

  • i use white and yellow cross.. no need to learn the rest

  • What cube your using, looks amazing

    also, nice tricks for F2L

  • where did u learn your PLL's ?? they look intersting !

  • using the blue cross wouldn't be useful assuming their color scheme isn't Japanese! Their white is opposite blue for some reason...

  • Comment removed

  • hey,if you solve 1st pair but you can't find 2nd pair, what do you do??

  • no he said youtubers

  • @4205Ferrari no^^

  • @schimpler get some humour

  • I take it with humour xD

  • That doesnt sound at all like "youtubers"

  • No, he definately said nerds.

  • you call us nerds :(

  • LOL AT 14:41 frame goes black:D

  • what brand of cube are those?? damn itsso smooth...

  • to much Ehmmm.. but you must decrease that.. ^^

  • ERIK WHY DO YOU CALL US NERDS??

  • cause u guys r

  • No.

  • Comment removed

  • lol he said hello nerds at the beginning

  • u were talking too fast to me...english is not my mother tongue..

  • ur a rocka erik love all of ur solves!!!

  • Nice Cubes :)

  • oh dam i have no life, :( i think i 'm gonna go cube now

  • did you just call us NERDS at 0:01? :/

  • i think he said youtubers, but im not sure

  • Yes he did^^

  • amazing video thanks!!!

  • dude what cube?

  • You should make a video on how you do M moves soooo fast, ive tryed, and i just cant do them that fast.

  • the cube i use after the first one has wrong color scheme

  • i watched the whole thing and my average went down 5 seconds

  • Erik since you have earned quite a lot of money why don't you purchase a higher-quality video cam because it would be much better to enjoy :)

  • @billyandika3158 dont put smile on it, your comment is the best one i have read on this vid, if he buy hi quality cam it would help million of cubers around the globe i believe , hope he would

  • xD @3:01 you can't resist this foced-oll skip^^

  • erik, is fridrich the method you use or do you use another method when you speed solve? just wondering, thanks :)

  • how many moves you do in F2L? help me, please!!!

  • hay which cube is your best 3x3x3??

  • a rubik's diy core with type b cubies

  • Comment removed

  • Great!

    Now I amd sub 20! (19.95secs)

Thanks Erik!By the way, At my school, we have a club called RCTA, Rubiks Cube Training Academy in Aus. If you could meet us that would be great

  • Australia is literally at the other side of the world for me so it's 'kinda' hard to meet up

  • @RubiksCubeAndMe hey u should come 2 the nz champs 2010.

  • @RubiksCubeAndMe

Pay for his ticket and he'll (possibly) be there.

  • @RubiksCubeAndMe Ask to Feliks Zemgdes

  • thx alot erik.....

    gud tutorial

  • ROFLMAO

"wuddup, nerds!" best opening ever for a cubing video. hahaha

  • ur hands move like freaking spiders when u scramble it lol

  • I don't have a life and I keep watching :D

Interesting stuffs here ! Your cube looks pretty crappy.

  • Why did I not watch this whole video before?!?!

great stuff in here and it will help a lot, I must practice :)

  • ey at 3:07 was oll skip???i think so but I'm not sure

  • slow down pls!!!

    you are too fast!!!

  • maybe you are too slow... it's an expert video after all..

  • Thats not fair! i cant even see which pieces of cube being turn.

Btw expert video should be understand by people and not to make people confuse.

  • then wtf is the point of an expert video? you make no sense

  • expert video is to let someone know and to learn something like rubik's cube.and it should let someone understand clearly too.

  • Dude, if you are pissed about the fact that this video is too hard for you to understand then practice and watch my other F2L video for beginners. Experts like Rowehess have no problem understanding it.

  • no its not too hard, its ok for me just that i dont really understand 2 parts.and i understand the rest of it.

  • IMHO, one persons level of expert may not be the same as the next. Everyone learns at their own speed. Regardless of the level, the video should be at a pace that can be comfortably followed and be clear and concise. Just my 2cents :)

  • well it does say expert video, not for nubs

  • This is undoubtely the best rubik's video i ever seen...thank you Erik, i never seen better tricks...I hope i will use them with some training

  • wow, thats a lot of tricks!

thanks for the gread vid, though i think you just started showing off after a while :P

  • what is there to show off? I don't even know that many tricks

  • maybe for someone like you who is familiar with WRs, it didnt seem like showing off, but to us mere mortals its bloody impressive. i argee with some other people here, sometimes your turn speed and thinking speed were hard to follow!

still a very useful vid though, im going to work on more ways to solve CE pairs

  • hes going fast because......ITS AN EXPERT VIDEO AND EXPERTS KNOW WHAT HES DOING. holy fuck guys...

  • i know why he is going fast, im not an idiot like you seem to think. i also dont see the problem with complimenting him on a great tutorial, and being impressively fast.

and just to clarify, i could understand the video

  • yeahh. :p

  • my f2l avg 11 seconds but oll and pll is 6 :(

  • Very nice vid ^^ I should prepare something similar about Minesweeper, in fact I own 9/10 world records :P Btw, what's your F2L average?
