Well he was often overdosing on drugs so maybe he was incapable of responding to his wife's needs. A lot of showbiz people who have a drug problem, go through the same thing apparently. What I liked about this movie is that it did show that Elvis and priscilla had this romantic love that got lost somewhere along the way but not totally destroyed. I like that they still spoke to each other after the break-up instead of resorting to namecalling and bitter public feuding like some couples do.

Hello? lolIf it were common it wouldnt be titled the Oedipus complex. As far as Elvis goes, obviously i didnt know the man, but I do recall Cilla stating that after she gave birth ,he said to her 'You are Lisa's mother now' basically implying he could no longer view her as a 'sex kitten' thus their lack of physical intamcy

yes it was just in the first couple of month and then when they had sex for the first time after she had given birth "her needs wasen't furfilled", only elvis's.

She did not say only Elvis's needs were fulfilled. She doesn't mention his needs at all. To me she hints that the passion had gone out which is a very NORMAL thing. As I've said if a man starts viewing his wife as a mother, it is COMMON for him to stop seeing her as a sex object. I was amazed they made love passionately through the pregnancy!

You don't sound like a 15 yr. old, but I'll try not to be too blunt. It was amazing to me because most men are not attracted to pregnant women--their wife or any other. Women may not like that, but it is true! It doesn't matter that much if you stay tiny or not. Their possible problem was Elvis stopped seeing her as a sex object and started seeing her as the mother of his child. You HAVE TO see the other person as a sex object to want to have sex with them.

not getting enough attention, and does not necessarily mean she didn't have an O, and if she didn't, it can be may things such as post pregnancy hormone levels, etc. Also, what did you mean by "its only real sex if one of em has an O?" Do you mean both or one? Actually, good sex should not be goal oriented anyway. One last point sex reduces by 75% after a birth at least for a while, may pick up again later, but they were both having affairs pretty quickly. Why the thumbs down?

Yes, Elvis did have sex with Priscilla again after Lisa. She says in her book they made love passionately throughout the pregnancy with him being careful not to hurt her or the baby & they did it again after, but it took a few months. She hints the passion had gone out. She started an affair with her dance instructor in 68 (Mike Stone was later), and Elvis started and affair on the set--the one I know about is Susan Henning, but I"m not sure if she is referring to another woman in her book.
