I've was addicted to drugs & alcohol over 30 yrs, was a junkie, crackhead, etc. Jesus delivered me, and i too struggled w/ the drug references until I got slammed in the spirit. Let's get high on the lord?! Not that I was perfect but drugs (alcohol, godka magic mushroom drink?!) should not be glorified. Sorry but even as a modern christian I find this "new wine" movement to be very questionable, to say the least.
Sure... "It's less what goes into the mouth than what comes out of it" BUT STILL "the body is the temple of the holy ghost".
Again I say I'm not perfect and not trying to judge, just asking christians to be aware.
