  • Ok, who cares about what exactly Jesus really looked like? Whether he was white, or black doesn't matter. What DOES matter, is what He did for us. It's not his appearance that makes Him who He is.

  • its funny how they make Jesus look all white with blue eyes and stuff...yalll know wthat Jesus was a middle eastern right and not a white..so stupid ignorant ass facess

  • @amcbirds THANK YOU !!!!!!!!

  • But His looks doesn´t matter. His sweet words, signs and His sacrifice on the Cross what is really important. He came to earth to do all things new and to save lots of people from damnation.

  • Love that movie; watched it for the zillionith time again, Christmas Day. The song, brings me to tears everytime I hear it...esp the line..."you kiss the face of God." I sooooo can't wait until He "wipes away my tears and we dwell w/God, forever!" (Rev 21:3)

  • i keep listening it for more than an hour and cant change it,... the message, the voice are so pleasant and powerful, soft and attractive... excellent lyrics and interpretation... thank you for posting it

  • if you don't believe in God open your heart, just pray a little and talk to him. If you just open your heart Jesus will find his way in and you will love him

  • @EdM021 no one knows how Jesus looked like

  • I'm looking for a movie that's exactly the same except there's a woman singing instead of a man

  • Bought this movie a few weeks ago, it is my favorite story of Jesus, haven't seen in years

  • @mistawow1 congratulations! this is a wonderful movie,i personally think it's very close to the real happening! I like the ending where Jesus says "I am with you every day untill the end of time"

  • Lindo!!

  • grande video, estou vendo as legendas em português :)

congratulations for puting this great video here into youtube. the christmas is arriving but i hope that the christmas be everyday to do the good things to people and poors on whole world.

  • Probably the 15 who disliked this song are miserable!!!! Let's pray for them!

  • @nimo1029 AMEN 2 THAT

  • @mymusic777ify that also makes some people angry

  • @mymusic777ify when someone asks you to prove Gods existence, tell them to look at the world and doubt it. "For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse."

  • from wich movie is this

  • @naomitje130795 Jesus Of Nazareth.......U gotta see it !!

  • People ask me where's proof of God's existence? My reply is simply "look around you look how beautiful this world is and such amazing knowledge and strength god shows us. I don't suppose this world just happened on it's own."

  • @RapidBeastFire I feel no need to explain Gods existence,my only explanation is to God.When people ask me such a silly question i answere:"Can you proove He doesn't exist?"that keeps them quiet.

  • all the glory for the life of his only son jesuschrist be for God forever and ever!

  • I am not a christian but I love this song

  • @LittleKinkyKitty oh will i hope God blesses your heart:)

  • @LittleKinkyKitty that is what christianity is all about:LOVE

  • Jesus is love

  • I have always loved this song. And playing it with the Jesus of Nazareth movie is a work of art. I was moved to tears. Hope He comes back soon, the world needs Him!

  • @MehMeh66 Nice to read a kind comment here for a change:)Keep your faith strong and pray for the people of this world because Jesus IS coming soon but we don't have to wait until He do to find Him.He IS with us everyday if we only open our hearts to see.Blessings

  • THERE IS NOTHING FUNNY ABOUT A LOST SOUL

  • WE MUST LOVE AND OBEY OUR LORD AND SAVIOR AND REPENT AND LET HIM LEAD US TO HAVE SALVATION.

  • please pray for the 13 people that disliked this video

  • I cannot wait to see this movie. I ordered it on DVD.

GOD bless YOU ALL. JESUS is the BEST and ALMIGHTY GOD. HE KNOWS our Hearts, We cannot judge, we do not know, it is His right & burden to bear.

    Melody

  • its funny and stupid that people that doesn't believe in the Lord means their dumb enough not to know that the Lord died for your sins from the devil that try to kill us.the devil cursed us he never liked us were the creation of god and he hates the creation of god.WE ARE GOD'S MASTER PIECE ! and to you all statue worshipers need to know this statues are statues which mean that they just sit there and do nothing but if you worship God he can hear you and will there for you

  • for ..@MommaMilesBig .....u do need to belive to be saved , how can the whole world be saved if they don`t change theyr life for CHRIST ?how can u expect salvation from someone if u don`t belive in him ? JESUS dyed so we can live but only by beliving that HE is and HE comes for us and by folowing HIM from all our heart ...Mark16:16

  • @outbackredd What????????

  • @ThAtGuYtHaTiStHeBeSt Jesus is so real. He died on the cross for our sins. He created all of us. Who would not be able to believe him. He is so real. God loves us so much that he sent his own sun to die on the cross for our sins. Then he arose from the dead and rebuilt the kingdom! Now he is up there in Heaven waiting for us. God bless you all.

  • @MommaMilesBig That is the mistake many Christians made.Christians think that they have TO BELIEVED to be saved. When in reality we ''THE WHOLE WORLD'' its being saved. Not because we believed..........But because by the grace of God.Amen

  • Maan Mera Ehsan song - Aan

  • @ThAtGuYtHaTiStHeBeSt your body perhaps but what about your soul?

  • God 1.0 (Biblical God) and Jesus God 2.0 are so human because they were conceived and created by man. Being human without being feminin, they were created by man or a group of men not by a woman or a group of women. For much much more on the true nature of God, watch "THE GOD HUMAN Parts 1-6" by typing in YouTube Search "THE GOD HUMAN - PART" Man bless you, God.. God bless you, man. Cheer.

  • This is a beautiful Clay Aiken Song, and a beautiful movie.

  • How we wished that the real "Jesus of Nazareth" film got this song also. They must do something better and better for all those directors out there but this one's good. I think they should get a perfect actors/actresses, cooler place, cooler playback music, a film that's too mysterious and can't get enough with. We need more Jesus films and more End of the world films! Greater & more powerful.

  • @ThAtGuYtHaTiStHeBeSt Please if you do not want to belive dont. But dont go around insulting other people's religion ok? Mary became pregnant when the angel gabriel came upon her and announced that she will bear a son (Jesus Christ) unless you are too ignorant to know that as well instead of just bluntly insulting. With the Lord at your side anything is possible. So before you say soemthing insulting to another persons religion think about where you will go when you reach death.

  • muito bom

  • In the name of the father, son, and holy spirit amen! God bless us all!

  • Clay need Jesus in his life.

  • Mary is sooooo pretty in this video!!! :P

  • This Easter, let's spread the truth like Jesus did instead of perpetuating, deception, myths, and pleasure seeking. Go to TruthContest (dot)com and open The Present (with religion). Read this book to learn the truth about Jesus and his rise from death.

  • wonderful video thank you so much and God Bless you!

  • Pretty song --- and isn't it ironic that folks who practice & foster peace, many times end up paying with their lives for their efforts all because someone else fears something ... sigh ...

  • Best film ever on the life of Jesus. It isn't even like watching a movie. It's like being there.

  • @TheDarvus What evidence? You haven't presented any yet...just pure theory is all

  • jesus is sooo handsome!!!! i love the song!!!!!!

  • @TheDarvus There is nothing to refute because it's just ridiculous...you're not interested in the truth, just your own truth...and no archeological evidence that makes the bible true? Really? Talk about overlooking what you don't want to know about...It's clear you don't want the bible to be true but it is and just ignoring the truth is not going to make it go away...I feel for people who constantly need evidence or proof of everything, how agonizing that must be...

  • @musicalladybug1 thank you for your insight! it is so true, the Bibel and Jesus will not stop existing or dissapear no matter how many or how hard some choose not to believe!

  • @mymusic777ify In my opinion people who have a problem with the Church and/or faith in general are usually the ones who try to explain away those things that call out their life styles...they don't want to be accountable for anything and so it's easier to spew hate I guess...

  • @musicalladybug1 Sorry, but when you say a sky daddy is true and "him" is watching every thing WE do, and you call that "truth" BASED on a meaningless book, then you have the burden of proof whether you like it or not. If you don't understand that then you are intellectually lazy, or mentally ill, or lying. Apologies to the mentally ill. It's not your fault and you are completely forgiven..

  • @JackeShanTwo Matthew 11:25-27 Jesus praises the Father for hiding these things from the wise and the learned and revealing them to the childlike...Jesus is talking about the unbelievers. While the wise and the learned have rejected Jesus and His preachings and the significance of His mighty deeds, the childlike have accepted them. God reveals Himself to those who are open to receive Him and He refuses the arrogant. So what I'm saying to you is that no proof will ever be enough for you

  • @musicalladybug1 amen my friend! Your words ring so true!

  • @musicalladybug1 Try give me ANY proof, dear. This is only beliefs, and you know it, thus it's absolutely pointless when it comes to "The Truth". To say something is "truth" you can't just simply show faith to support your claims. Extraordinary claims do require extraordinary evidence. I don't really care what you believe in, beliefs are fine, but don't spread them as they are "the truth", okay?

  • @JackeShanTwo Where is your intellect now? Can you not recognize your own self in Matthew 11:25-27?...you ARE who the Lord is talking about my dear...YOU ARE THE PROOF! What more proof do you need? Look around you...but like I said, proof will never satisfy you...

  • @musicalladybug1 How is me proof of a "lord", or your christian god for that matter? Do you even know what "proof" means?

  • @musicalladybug1 By the way, ALLAH is real, I AM THE PROOF, oh no I meant the Jehova's beliefs are true because I AM HERE, oh wait: SANTA CLAUS is real because I once believed it.

Come on, where is your logic?

  • @JackeShanTwo where is yours? Like I said...

  • @musicalladybug1 About what?

  • @JackeShanTwo Exactly....God be with you this Easter season for He is Risen!

  • @JackeShanTwo Exactly....God be with you this Easter season for He is Risen! He will lead you to the Truth and the "proof" you so desire to have...pray

  • @JackeShanTwo Eveeryone is entitled to their own opinion, but it does not recquire proof to know the truth. That is why you must have faith in the lord for he will one day return

  • @BloodWolf7290 Yawn..

  • i love this song :)

  • @TheDarvus I am not getting my information from the Bible....besides, what is the Bible if not a history book? The Bible is history just like your Josephus writings...how do you know his writings are fact? He could have written whatever he wanted based on what your arguing...I like to look up information on the New Advent Catholic Encyclopedia online, you can find all kinds of stuff on just about anybody...and again, you have no valid evidence for your claim...your wrong, plain and simple...

  • @TheDarvus It is very improbable indeed...Paul is said to have been born between the years of 5 and 10 AD, Josephus wasn't born until the 30's AD...from the time of Pauls conversion, his spreading of Christianity, to his death was the span of about 30 years...he died around 65 or 66 AD and Josephus around 100 AD...there is no evidence that they are the same person...spiritual journey is a personal thing and nothing near the establishing of Christ's Church as Paul did

  • @TheDarvus Well I suspect Paul didn't write anything because he was busy with his missionary work for years and years after his conversion spreading the teachings of Jesus Christ throughout Europe, Asia Minor, etc...it's a wonder he managed to write of his accounts at all, thank God he did. As for Josephus, no clue why he wasn't writing anything until 70, I mean what was he doing for crying out loud? Why didn't he write what he saw as he saw it? The same person? come on...

  • continued...I wish those that are trying to prove that the bible doesnt exist would stop. I am no scholar I admit but I have an all consuming love For Jesus. I could never NOT love Him I was made to love him. For me-I believe the bible is Gods spoken words he gave to man. There is a part called "faith" & I believe. Please do not tear down those that believe in the truth. How do I know it is truth? "I know that I know, that I know" It is the only way to explain it. It is just a part of me.

  • I believe this is the best Jesus movie ever made. I read that Robert Powell isnt a Christian but did enjoy the part until I read this interview of Robert Powell . It talked about making the movie, his wife -they pressured him to marry cuz of him playing Jesus. He didnt even want the part . He want to be Judas. Only God knows his heart but cant believe God didnt touch his heart at all. Noone playing that part & the memorization of scripture can easily forget it. continued...

  • @TheDarvus Yes you're dates are correct I messed that up but still their writings are historical fact...not sure why you dismiss them though. So if Josephus is Paul as you claim (that's a first lol) are you saying Josephus wrote the Acts of the Apostles, and the letters to the Corinthians, Thessalonians, Phillipians etc...? How come Josephus is only known for a few accounts if he was the only writer at the time? How come he is not revered beyond a "diary"?

  • @TheDarvus Read the writings of Irenaus, Augustine, Polycarp, Justin Martyr, Ignatius...The Early Church Fathers to name a few...Ignatius and Polycarp were taught straight from St. John the Apostle himself. They documented everything...lots of historical fact that coincides with the Bible exactly which hadn't even been written yet...St. Ignatius and St. Polycarp lived in the first century as did Jesus and His Apostles...the info they were taught was still from very recent events

  • @TheDarvus Yes, the way i wrote did sound like i was calling you an atheist. I was not. My bad :)

  • @TheDarvus that comment wasn't addressed to you. I was talking to MaskedMan66, not you. But either way, you proved my point about atheists.

  • @TheDarvus Oh, and by the way, the Apostles were telling about Jesus well before Paul ever entered the scene.

  • @MaskedMan66 These atheists will say anything to discredit Christianity and our Lord's reality and truth. Don't listen to them! They write things that make them sound scientific and logical, but they are all lies made by other atheists. They use words like 'scholars said this' and 'scientists say this' and all such sort of rubbish. It's too pathetic. I used to get caught up in their words too once upon a time, but now i see right through their lies.

  • @MaskedMan66 continued -- they just dont belive in the Bible because they dont want to give up their sinful way of living and also because their ego hurts to think that they're sinners in need of a Saviour. As for proof of the bible being true - archaeologically, scientifically and historically -- its all there! So keep it up, and dont give up ever :)

  • @TheDarvus Doesn't quite work.

Josephus followed the Jewish faith and never claimed to be a Christian. Paul had been a Pharisee before his conversion, while Josephus was against Pharisees. Paul endured beatings, stonings, and ultimately beheading for his faith. Josephus was distressingly adept at saving his own skin, even at the cost of other people's lives, and changing his tune now and again.

Josephus said of Jesus, He "was called" the Christ. Paul said He definitely is the Christ.

  • @TheDarvus If you'd heard of Jesus, you'd heard of Yeshua, because they're one and the same.

There's certainly a "theory" I'd never heard before, Paul supposedly being a pseudonym for Flavius Josephus. It doesn't hold up, however, because Josephus was born roundabout 37 AD and died in 100, while Paul was already an adult at the time the Christian Church got started and was executed in 67 or so.

  • Wow, you took my breath away, thank you for sharing.

I love this song, I have it with Kenny Rogers doing the vocals.

    Jeannie in the Bronx

  • BEST MOVIE EVER MADE ...JESUS OF NAZARETH

  • who agrees that this mary loks kinda like the one in the nativity story

  • great jon with this video. You said you have it in portuguese?

  • Here's to MarbieHarding, who wrote:

"I have been misrepresented by those who don't know me. John 8:41-44 Jesus died so that you and I could be reconciled. 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 His death was the ultimate expression of my love for you. 1 John 4:10 I gave up everything I loved that I might gain your love. Romans 8:31-32 If you receive the gift of my son Jesus, you receive me. 1 John 2:23 RECIEVE YOUR GIFT MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "

  • Noone could have played the part Mary better than Olivia Hussey, she has the perfect look, warm and loving, innocent and pure!

It is definitly the best movie about Jesus ever made!!!

And this song, if this lyrics doesn`t touch your heart ,what will?

God bless us all today and in times to come, help us open our eyes to Your everlasting love!

  • @mymusic777ify "No one could have played the part Mary better than Olivia Hussey"

    AGREED!

  • @mymusic777ify Mary... Common you know your not really a virgin, relax

I get like that some night out's too, just cut down on your

Drinks and you'll be allright, Ayght? God Bless...

  • @Southparkateer2 I really don't know what comments you're responding to here but if you have a drinking problem there are other forums and lots of help out there.

  • The reality is, for whatever we do, or don't know, we know that despite all the truly wonderful science of the last 100, 200, 500 years, "belief" persists, which befuddles atheists...there is a reason belief in a higher power ("God") exists, because our Lord wrote it onto our hearts, through our DNA, to naturally long for Him, to know Him, to be with Him. He is our Father, and all humans secretly long to be held by His gentle hands. Jesus is the closest we ever came, and will be again.

  • Sehr gut!

  • I luv this version of the song and this is without a doubt the best vid to this song I have seen. Outstanding job, the clips match perfectly with the words. I get a lump in my throat each time I see it and the last pic of Jesus with the crown of thorns brings me to tears. Mary did you know that your baby boy is heavens perfect lamb this sleeping child your holding is the GREAT I AM!!! Powerful,,,,,thank you for sharing & GOD Bless.

  • cool video! Jesus is the Savour eternal he is with us every day to always!

  • Wow and wow. Nice for a Christmas day fine Thanks,

  • Who ever went around forgiving sins, any sins? What shakes me is the way he forgave sin as if he was the one most offended. No one has ever done that, then or now. Past, present, and future, he took it all. That sounds like God to me who recognizes no such concept as time but dwells within it all.

  • Soon Jesus will Come again ..Get prepared ...Pray alot for ur Sins that he may forgive you ...and u will have a place in heaven with him...May GOD HELP & BLESS EVERYONE ...

  • God forgive me. God is one.

  • gets sick of nonbelievers coming to these videos just to start a fight....if you have a question, and are trully looking for the answer, then ask it....but don't bash other peoples beliefs.

  • Beautiful and wonderful, yes mary di know, as her saying yes to the angel, made it so. Human mother with joys and worries for her child, and a special place for being the Mother of God.

Catholic are encouraged to read the bible, being a part of our liturgy and lives.

  • Great version! Thanks!

  • Are grown-ups in 2010 really playing pretend that the characters in a book were all real?

  • @StopSpamming1 The Bible isn't a book, it's a collection of 66 (or if you're Catholic, 72) books relating historical events; cross-referencing with other historical texts will confirm the historicity. What isn't history in the Bible is praise, poetry (including erotic poetry), and of course spiritual instruction.

I would advise you to read up on Eusibius, Pliny the Younger, and especially Flavius Josephus; they speak of these events as well.

  • @MaskedMan6

Thanks for the information. Even though I know the facts I call the book as it is commonly known: the Bible.

The Bible actually contains surprisingly few historical events. It does contain almost exclusively fairy tales and fables, which were easy to communicate to primitive (by today's standards) shepherds and artisans. If you tell me to read up on the people you mention you seriously need to clean up your act as they don't name any Jesus. Josephus does 69 times but not THE Jesus.

  • @StopSpamming1 As do most. Just don't fall think someone dreamed it up all at once.

The number of historical events is relatively unimportant; the mere fact of places, people, and events being named in conjunction with the main events related, means that the authors wanted to show their readers that these things happened.

There are no fairies in the Bible, and its audience and authors included all walks of life, including scientists and philosophers.

    (continued)

  • @MaskedMan66 "Just don't think someone dreamed it all up," I meant to say.

  • @StopSpamming1 As for the historians, they all mention Christians, which means they must at some point have had a leader known as the Christ. There were indeed many false Christs before Jesus appeared, but none of their followers formed a movement that swept across the whole world.

By the way, I left out a name: Origen.

As for Josephus, he most certainly wrote of Jesus of Nazareth. Look at the quote in my next post, from which I've excised later interpolations.

    (continued)

  • Again, sorry, but no non-Christian historian other than Josephus actually mentions a Jesus whether Christ or Nazareth or anything. They ALL mention Christians, which we know existed, but that does not provide proof for a Jesus character actually and physically existing.

All historians (~40) living in the era and region failed to notice rock-splitting earthquakes, miracles, darkness, male infanticide, zombies, etc (please don't bring up Africanus).

A place doesn't prove a person like Spiderman.

  • @StopSpamming1 And who is known to history as the Christ? Jesus! It's a matter of deduction. The men who wrote the New Testament (and their associates) attested to there being a Jesus and so did Josephus. That should be enough.

    However, it's only non-Christans you'll listen to:

"Their name came from one Christus, who was put to death in the principate of Tiberius by the Procurator Pontius Pilate." -- Cornelius Tacitus

"On the eve of Passover Yeshua was hanged." -- Babylonian Talmud

  • @MaskedMan66

What? a book on James Bond is sufficient to prove that James Bond really existed? You'll have to do better than that.

One Christus? Tacitus? Tacitus repeats what an unnamed source says what Christians are saying what they believe about the origins of their belief. And he mentions "Chrestianos", not Jesus.

Yeshua? How about Yahushuwa who was hanged? Is there any reference to a Jesus of Nazareth here?

Josephus: Jesus, "the son of Damneus" is really your man-god?

  • @StopSpamming1 You're starting to sound obtuse.

Anyone knows a work of fiction is different from a record of history. Ian Fleming was a journalist, but he was also a writer of fiction, and people knew the difference, just as they knew the difference 2000 years ago.

"Chrestianos" was the word he used for "Christians," and it has come into doubt whether he actually spelled it that way. In any case, he spoke of a man known as Christus who was put to death by Pilate." Nobody else that could be.

  • @StopSpamming1 Yeshua is Hebrew for Joshua and was Jesus's given name; the name "Jesus" (this is almost elementary school stuff, dude) is the Latin form. Jesus of Nazareth was executed the night before Passover. Logic!

No. "Jesus the so-called Christ" is not the same person as Jesus ben-Damneus; the latter gent was a high priest unrelated to James.

  • @MaskedMan66

Getting bored. Can't you be more concise?

Did you read all of Antiquities 20.9? Look, your list of historians who ALL mention Jesus is down to 1 (one).

The rest: how do you KNOW that? You are merely interpreting and interpolating it to make it fit. I started from scratch as I initially never doubted the existence of Jesus. I was surprised when I started investigating. You don't get my points anyway, so let's stop here as you will just sow doubt and cling at straws.

  • @StopSpamming1 Concise? I've left box after box of very specific information.

Never heard of Antiquities, and who compiled that anyway? Incidentally, the New Testament writers are also historians, which is to say recorders of history.

Tacitus and Josephus speak of a man known as the Christ who had tons of followers and was condemned to death by Pilate. No "interpretation" required.

I see you building up for the "cut-and-run." If you were really behind your stated view, you'd never give up.

  • @StopSpamming1 Before you run away, please tell me about this Africanus you mentioned. I Googled it and all sorts of people came up.

  • @MaskedMan66

There is a point when I give up. There is a stage when I realise it is useless.

Africanus is often used as witness for the claimed darkness, as nobody mentions any geophysical abnormalities. There is a 9th century reference by George Syncellus who quotes the 3rd century Julianus Africanus, who, speaking of the darkness at the crucifixion, wrote: "Thallus calls this darkness an eclipse". Total hearsay, but used all the same.

  • @StopSpamming1 "There is a point when I give up." Those who truly believe that they are telling the truth (whether they are or not) never give up. Those who give up KNOW they aren't telling the truth.

Africanus was a bit closer to the time than any modern historian was, so his word is more credible than theirs. But as this is the first I've heard of it, I'd have to do a bit of research.

In any case, Matthew and Mark were right there, and their account must be included in the evidence.

  • @MaskedMan66

I give up when I realise that no matter of truth and evidence will convince someone who only sees what they believe. And does not even WANT to know the truth. And you have a warped sense of reality. For me, the truth is important, which is why I researched and had to throw out my preconceived ideas.

} "Matthew and Mark were right there"

No, you WANT them to have been there. There is no evidence for this. Read them side-by-side and you will understand. Well, maybe.

  • @StopSpamming1 I know the Truth, my friend, and His name is Yeshua bar-Yose, or as we'd have it nowadays, Joshua Josephson.

I've done research as well, and concluded that no other belief system (certainly not atheism) has the answers to the questions in every human mind. Archaeology constantly turns up evidences-- and proofs-- of the history told in Scripture.

They were there, whether you want or not. And look an any two reporters' coverage of any story; there will be differences.

  • @MaskedMan66

Good for you - you are one step ahead of me, because I am still searching.

Who is Yeshua bar-Yose or Joshua Josephson? Jesus, son of Joseph? Which Jesus son of which Joseph?

Atheism is a belief system? Now you've cracked. Too much pressure?

Here I agree: archaeology finds more places - but not characters that exist in books.

  • Comment removed

  • @StopSpamming1 I''ll meet you when you get here with a plate of cookies; you got any favorites?

Joseph was Jesus's adoptive father, so naturally Jesus wore his name.

Of course! Atheists believe that there is no God, they believe that everything happened by accident, they believe that death is the end of life. They believe a lot of things.

Also not true; Pontius Pilate's seal was discovered decades ago. And why do you not count the writings of historians as archaeological evidence?

  • @MaskedMan66 BTW, that would be Joseph of Nazareth, husband of Mary. Whom else?

  • @MaskedMan66

:-) Butter cookies. Thanks for your hospitality.

Well, depending on where you read, Joseph was married to Mary or not. Nazareth did not yet exist. Where Pontius Pilate has multiple records to attest his existence, Jesus has zero. But I should have been more specific, I agree with you here. But Pilate does not carry the burden of having founded an entire religion, so he is a side character.

Maybe check up on the definition of atheist.

  • @StopSpamming1 Yes, the Babylonian document got the means of death wrong (though Jesus did "hang" on the cross), but the rest gibes.

"Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of one of our procurators, Pontius Pilatus" -- Tacitus again

Also, Josephus reported on the trial of "the brother of Jesus the so-called Christ -- James by name." How can a man who didn't exist have a brother?

    (yet more)

  • @StopSpamming1 Bottom line, how does a movement get started without a founder? It's like saying America came about without Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, and the Adamses. The historicity of Jesus the man is not in doubt.

Name the historians you mean. Regarding the slaughter of the innocents, that was apparently one of the minor atrocities committed by Herod the Great, and therefore didn't get recorded by too many, but more than the Gospel authors did write about it.

    (continued)

  • @StopSpamming1 No zombies in the Bible any more than fairies; the dead who rose up were restored to life; and eyewitnesses were cited for the benefit of anyone living at the time of the Crucifixion who wanted to ask around about those events.

Don't worry about me bringing up Africanus; I've never heard the name. On the other hand, if it/he corroborates the Gospel, then it/he should be included in the discussion.

How did Spider-Man come up? Nobody ever said he was real.

  • @StopSpamming1 "Now there was about this time Jesus, a wise man, for he was a doer of wonderful works, a teacher of such men as receive the truth with pleasure. He drew over to him both many of the Jews and many of the Gentiles. And when Pilate, at the suggestion of the principal men amongst us, had condemned him to the cross, those that loved him at the first did not forsake him. And the tribe of Christians, so named from him, are not extinct at this day." -- Josephus

  • @MaskedMan66

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I am not a beginner. My fault. I did think that mentioning that Josephus mentions the name Jesus 69 times was a give-a-way.

The TF is the executive summary Christians would have liked to see and it sounds too good to be true. Which it is. Wedged between two paragraphs describing the calamities of the Jews it is out of place. The contents is totally out of place and such an obvious fake. Sorry, no sale.

  • @StopSpamming1 Your knowing Josephus mentions the name "Jesus" 69 times could easily have come up as the result of Googling. But if you've actually read the references to the name, then you've come across what I've already mentioned, including the mention of Jesus's half-brother James.

Sorry: the TF? Fake or not, there is still too much evidence of Jesus being a real man than can be ignored except by the self-deceiver.

  • @MaskedMan66

Yep, I read the whole thing. Myself. And Tacitus' Annals as well as some others because I wanted to be sure there is not a single shred of evidence. Now I am sure. If you have other info, show me.

No zombies? Jesus was a zombie. Mat 27 begs to differ.

You did. If a city (New York) is real, then a person (Spiderman) is real.

Logics? A spiritual founder is sufficient. Judaism?

Not too many? Who DID record infanticide?

No! Not deduction! I want proof. Check your false examples.

  • @StopSpamming1 How then did you miss the bit about Jesus being condemned by Pilate at the behest of Jewish leaders and whose followers are still around, and also the reference to Jesus's brother James? If you really read it, the evidence was staring you in the face. It's sad how you don't want something to be there, so you ignore it.

A zombie is a reanimated corpse which, though mobile, is still dead. Jesus was restored to full life. Furthermore, zombies don't exist. Jesus does.

    (continued)

  • @StopSpamming1 I never mentioned Spider-Man. Lots of fictional characters hail from New York (and other real places), but they're still fictional.

    God founded Judaism.

    Matthew recorded the infanticide.

"NO! Not deduction! I want proof." You sound like a child. God gave us brains and wants us to use them; that's why He has never been much into blatantly putting it all out there, except early on when He had to.

  • Such a powerful song

  • The Lord is I am and we shall thank him and sing unto him this christmas.

  • Thanks for the video and translation...Very touchy and well done, great job!

Astonishing! In the end a new story for him...imagine that...kissing the face of God...Thank you for the video :)...Now if we can just return to the Love

  • @poetrywithedge Amen kissing the face of God oh how I wonder what that must feel like. I had a dream the other night I gave into sin in real life so before going to bed I cried and asked for forgiveness again In my dream there was a little girl who was with jesus I talked to her she called me a soldier and then Jesus was in front of me I cried and hugged him told him I was sorry He embraced me and kissed me on the cheek and whispered in my ear and said Thank You I woke up crying and praised him

  • @xXxCOV3RTxXx your dream is deep...wide...breaking open your heart revealing a even deeper truth...eyes to see...ears to hear...whats being said in your dream :)...thank you for the share of your dream...blessings in your walk in this life...as we kiss the face of God...it can never be enough to catch up on the millions of kisses he's given all of human kind! Its the Love Jesus came to share...the reflection of the Living God...in all his goodness...:) find rest and peace in His divine word...

  • @poetrywithedge Continued from before, I left loved again and not ashamed or worthless now the battle begins again born again for I know darkness will strike at the same place it got me to sin but this time I shall be ready with the whole armour of God on and the enemy will be defeated and run in fear for I will face them in the name of the Lord HallaluYAH

  • @poetrywithedge This was actually a T.V. miniseries that ran across (I think) a week.

I didn't know that about Robert Powell! He converted because of playing Jesus in this show? That's wonderful!

  • @MaskedMan66 Yes and then they made the miniseries into DVD for Movie ;)....it is this I watched 40s .... Yes Robert felt alive in the message he not only acted...but had an encounter that called his heart into...my interpretation...the greatest love and intimacy story ever born...I must say I have enjoyed your intellect mind in your comments...and agree 100% God gave us a mind to use...sometimes logic drowns out the heart of a matter...I can appreciate a thinker and someone who asks???

  • @poetrywithedge Thank you for your kind words, but it's no credit to me; I'm just speaking a truth anybody can speak.

  • @MaskedMan66 your very welcome :) ....

  • Thank you for this breathtaking song

  • this song reminds me so much bout choir...... i love it thank you and god bless

  • bobo- your attitude is typical narrow-minded Christian. Rolldeep has a right to his belief's, just like you do... even if those of yours are much more narrow-minded. Your name is appropriate.

  • @MarTay6 Yep. Everyone has a right to their own beliefs and everyone has a right to die without the one true G-d and burn in hell.
