@magratmd First of all taxes shouldnt be raised for the middle class, the upper class should be taxed more. The richest 1% of americans have more money than half of the rest of the country combiened.
Second of all scott walker is lying collective bargining has no fiscal impact, it justs protectes state empoyes, the unions have already agreed to pay for some of thier pension and health care, scott walker just want to bust the unions

@nilgeor1298 Collective barganing does have an impact in the long term by reducing the union ability to gain more tax payer money in the future, thereby protecting the tax payer from increased cost. and lets get it straight, he did not remove all coll barganing. Just those involving increased pensions and benefits. Wages are left intact but they can only get the increase to cost of living and no more. Walker is trying to be more responsible and protecting the tax paying middle class.

He gave away 137 million in tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations and then turned around and said "we have a 140 million dollar deficit" so teachers must pay. In my state union, we have giving consessions 8 out of the 12 years I have bargained. We have had wage freezes or increased premiums for years. We ARE paying our fair share. My salary has gone up 2,146 in 12 years and my insurance and co pays went up 2,500.

They move overseas so they can lessen safety regulations and not pay full salaries or health benefits. That way they can spend much less money on worker safety and all that money turns into profit immediately.

There are some good sources for media news but it requires one to be proactive in finding them. (i.e., Democracy Now, Free speech TV, Pacifica radio, CSPAN, etc.) For those who find reading inconvenient these outlets are good alternatives. BTW, Governor Walker is lying when he says, "WI is broke". CA is in much more trouble & we are not union busting here to fix our budget. If Meg Whitman (R) became Governor, we might have suffered the same fate as WI.
