The Griffin Clarify was my favorite case as well, until I started using the Speck CandyShell. I would highly suggest you at least try that out Michael.
I have this exact same case for my iPod Touch and I love it(I pretty much love anything carbon fiber).
A lot of people complained about the iPhone version though because they said it scratched their phones so you should be careful Mike. I haven't noticed any scratches on my iPod though so I think that version is fine.
