V8 440 Chrysler Marine Engine

@kevrs2 The difference in a marine and a regular automotive engine are these, In a marine engine the exhaust manifolds are water cooled and second, The transmission has only 2 gears Reverse and Forward,

@kevrs2 -- Mr ford forgot a few things --cam profile is different -- stiffer valve springs

to prevent valve " float" at high revs -H-D oiling system - and carb is for marine

use - ( different in many ways ) - and special distributor - if points system - will

be dual points -- basically engine is set up for contant rpms -
