Ah, I see. Future of Music Coalition isn't as bad as I thought, apparently. If they support goals to make the music market freer, including abolishing "anti-piracy" bs and letting filesharing flourish, I'm all for it. All this RIAA suing bullshit is anti-free market and ridiculous. The record industry needs to either compete or shut up, not use courts for protectionism. If they can't compete, adios.

Future of music?? Wtf is a US SENATOR doing at an event like this? Government should have NO ROLE in music!! God, have the Dems no shame? Now they wanna get involved in this? We already got bullshit like "save the music" (although I think that's mostly a private program).
