OK, singing with vibrato is great, each part has to sing exactly the same notes and at the same tempo however every vibrato is unique and its each singer contribution the adding a dynamic and texture to the piece. In this choir the vibratos are nice they are just not consistent, GIRLS dont show off you vibrato use it to compliment the nature of the piece and the other voices
It's okay to have a little bit of vibrato in a choir, just like vibrato of string instruments in an orchestra. I like the treatment of phrasing and the blending of voices. The difficulties on blending are the tone and volume control but not the vibrato. of course some uncontroled vibratos are not so good for a choir, but not in this recording.
@vasilis83 what do you mean 'no vibrato in the song, please'? These are adult female singers, not treble boys. Female singers who have relaxed voices are going to sing with at least some vibrato, especially with the tempo the condcutor chose to direct the song. Overall I thought it was a very good performance, not too heavy on the lines.
the tone and diction is great! I really liked the phrasing, no fermata in measure 27 - but catch breath in 28 - very nice!

I mean the problems of blending in most choirs are usually in the tone or volume control. But this choir do the both very nicely.
