To be declared a saint in the Orthodox Church there have to be signs, witnessing of miracles, appearances that by-pass natural laws, the scent of an unearthly fragrance. If enough witnesses/petitions appear before the local Metropolitan, procedure will start for sainthood. There is no "fixed "time of elapse.

@scaleshchess it doesnt matter !!it can takes us bilions of years to declare him as a saint but in the God's eyes his already a saint!!!
