  • Wow that was some really shitty form. Your ass is supposed to stay on the bench. If you want to do a decline bench press, find a decline bench and keep your ass on it. Also that bounce you are getting of your chest is probably reducing the weight by about 20 lbs. Use proper form, it's much more impressive regardless of the weight you use.

  • Some of these kids are strong, but just don't show any mass on their bodies. How is this possible?? This kid has no mass on his forearms, upper arms, or chest from what I can see. Weird.

  • @PneumaticTire These kids are athletes ..they don't want unnecessary mass because they need to be fast and excess mass makes you slow....so they train for explosive strength... where each set is shorter then 20 seconds.. did you see how he was benching..it's because he wants that explosive power football players and other athletes want....if a bodybuilder was doing this.. he'd be going slow all the way down..and really feeling the contractions..which is what builds mass

Since youve given such good explainations as to why he should not be benching this way Im just going to assume that you already realize powerlifters are able to put up so much weight because of their hip and leg drive which is why it is taught to combine athletes. But no, you called me a fag so you deff know more than me.

  • For everyone bitching that his form is off please understand the purpose this exercise. His goal is to get as many reps as humanly possible to impress college coaches, not to be a bodybuilder. Using his legs and hips to drive the weight up will allow him to get more reps, thus accomplish his intended purpose.
