@jojo24love To be honest, that statement isn't complely fair. My ancestors, for example, were indetured servants from ireland and didn't have slaves. I would dare say that ALL races have evil and there isn't one that has the exclusive rights to it. In the Civil War, there were many whites that died on the Union side with the premise of emanicpating slaves. Slavery was not exclusive to that era. It has historically been around and unfortunately still is around. It is a sad state of affairs.

My wife and I have 2 lovely daughters who are at Universitiy training to become a Doctor and Dentist respectivly. One has a Black boyfriend the other a white one. When they come home for weekends, we all get on together really well and race is never mentioed because none of us has a problem with.

The wifes Granny, Ruth, or Abeena, to give her, her Ghanain name, is a fantastic story-teller and the girls loved her old African fairy tales. Slavery within Africa goes back centuries and was more or less seen as servitude, until the arrival of the Arabs then Europeans who saw the oppuntunity in exploiting mass numbers of Africans.
