my dad has ataxia cerebral..and what he explains is all true..my dad use to walk very "drunknly" now he can walk on his own he need his walker when at home and when we go out has to be in a wheelchair,he also gets seizures minor ones and blackouts afterwards
I would like to know more about Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy due to Hydrocelphlus. I have this condition in a " mild" form of CP and all I know is that I am very fortunate to be able to walk, talk and get around like I do, but as I get older, some of the muscles seem to have grown weaker..I don't understand why.
@alufa1 I have the same question. In the process right now of researching hereditary spastic paraplegia (a diplegic, spastic movement disorder like CP which is genetic and progresses but usually doesnt progress if diagnosed early in life). I have noticed increasingly poor coordination as I get older, too, with more tremors... in America we say it can't get worse, in Germany they say you will get worse and irreversibly so (or so was the intonation) if you don't do PT.

There is another good video of someone with Cerebral Palsy by Dr. Bob Segalman on Youtube and the title is "Telephone access for AAC users".
