I usually play/watch anime in Japanese with English subtitles but i genuinely preferred the English voices for this game they fit better. Either way this is one of the most under-rated games i have ever played if you have a PS3 this is a must buy.

Valkyria Chronicles ( = Gears of WarHammer ) is indeed a great game

and the whole console wars don't really mather anymore...

360 has great (co-op/multiplayer) games & much faster releases with dlc

PS3 has great single player games and a lot of PS1-games in HD

Besides, the 360 has great (multiplayer) games for a low budget like Castle Crashers, Alien Hominid & Fable 1

@sestrensaz first things first, i'm a girl, thank you... and two, my part-time job doesn't give me enough money to get a 360, do you think i can afford a ps3? i worked really hard just to get a ps2... and the ps3 doesn't have a working chip yet so i'll have to buy original games... and those cost a lot of money too, i know that the ps3 is awesome and everything but sorry, my dad and i are the only supporters of my family since my mom died...

Yes. there is an option for Japanese and English voices :).

I think so. I just got this game 2 months ago, and in the options in the start menu, you can change the voice to Japanese or English. With subtitles of course.

Although imo, the game is better than the anime 'cuz it's more focused in the war and there isn't a love triangle. Which is just ridiculous. You don't have time for love when you're fighting in a war. Oh well, it's just an adaptation after all.

I love this but what about male Valkyrur, it says the male carried a gene for it but, that would mean all males carried that gene so that parts impossible so there has to be a male Valkyria to counter the female side,(We call thismating), alhtough this is put back by the "Welcoome Sister Valkyrur" in the temple, though there has to be more than one tmeple, either in europa or from where the Valkyrur originated. Regardless of language it's great in both. Dubbed games are better that animes.

Makes sense, as it's how it was originally intended, but I think good dubs should ALWAYS be praised, as they are EXTREMELY hard to come across.

I switch between the English dub and the Japanese dub randomly just to experience the game both ways.

aye, some big shots in japanese dub, like lelouch(forgot what his seiyu was called XD) as maximillian.

japanese version had a very very nice seiyuu line up.

Quite. Lelouch's seiyu is Fukuyama Jun, IIRC. It also has the seiyu that did Suzaku (for Falido, I believe), and the one that voiced Milly Ashford. Outside of Code Geass, they had Marina Inoue (famous for the role of Yoko in TTGL among other good series, like Zetsubou Sensei). There are more, but I can't remember any else at the moment.
