  • I just wanted a simple answer to the action for my med card....OMG.

  • <3

  • love the video man

  • But how does it stop again?

  • God damned hydrophobes!!

  • yay gr 11 biology class all over again. Fuck you youtube

  • I knew all about this from learning about many of the different drugs I've done. Paranoia is common with many drugs and is just a reflection of your body activating the fight or flight response.

  • what..........the..............fuck........

  • What a fantastic design!

  • AMAZING !!!

  • I think the alpha protein (the far right purple oval with the blue tear dromp(GTP) in it) doesn't dissociate from the beta-gamma proteins (the far left two purple ovals) untill the gdp is replaced by dtp. I think gtp causes it to break off. Also, somthing interesting, the PKA doesn't just promote the production of glucose, it also stops the production of glycogen in this example.

  • is this english?

  • HOW DID THEY FIND OUT ABOUT THIS!!

  • @summt5697 A good one.

  • yeahhh, i quit listening after 0:03

  • I love this stuff man, seriously!!!!!

  • Anyone who thinks math is hard needs to see this video.

  • I'm a 3rd yr med student and I'm going to give you a little secret on how to learn this crap.... yes, it does seem complicated when you try to learn it in terms of blobs (like they love to show it here and it all books) but if you turn those blobs into cars or trucks or taxis or something that makes sense to you, it makes things a lot easier. Make it a story! A car picks up this person and goes to this place... etc. Once you do that, it's simple.

  • @MrMike00722 You're awesome for that!!!! Thank you bunches MD!!!!

  • Why the hell such a complicated procedure? It can probably be done much easier.

  • End result: Phosphorylated CREB results in CRE production, resultant in gluconeogenesis resulting in more energy for the tissues.

  • AWESOME

  • Hah... this takes me back to biology class

  • makes a lot of sense.

  • This signaling pathway is wrong(incomplete), It lacks a better description of the signaling between Protein kinase A which phosphorylate an enzyme called phosphorylase kinase which then phosphorylates another protein called glycogen phosphorylase the one in charge of breaking down glycogen in response to adrenaline signaling.

  • @MiloPrion ya and they also didnt mention the creb protein which increases glocogenesis

  • Oh yeah glucose 6 phosphate, Duh!

  • such a complicated process that unfolds in a few seconds. amazing.

  • Simple AP Biology :}

  • GOD EXIST!!!

  • thanks .. =)

    very helpful ..

  • Good video. I wish you would have included that cAMP inactivates glycogen synthase, but otherwise nice work.

  • is it the krebs cycle?

  • @Irolla201 yes

  • I love you too!

  • I love you

  • Great visualization. This pathway is the most difficult for me to memorize. So glad I found this, it makes so much more sense!

  • it's biochemistry

  • very helpful! schematics are so old school.

  • Yeah, yeah, yeah. Tell me something I don't know.

  • lol i am crying i don't know why but tears comes from eyes after i saw this video :S

  • paramedic school...fuck my life

  • you should know that this is not for kids....

  • Simply Marvelous video for college students in the cellular emphasis. Explains some of the JAK STAT pathways I have been curious about, and also really shows the potential of conformational changes of this intrinsic nature. Thank You for this simplification that slows down the process step by step.

  • Crank made this sound so much more fun then this little video

  • what?

  • oh come on its not that hard !!its a simple mechanism.anybody with basic knowledge can get that . am i wrong?

  • @redick91 man I dont give a fuck about how it works... I just wanna run, jump and bang like a rabbit!!!

  • this is all greek to me

  • Great for my Chemistry powerpoint!

  • its biology not chemistry..........

  • @2010mib It could be considered a "fusion" of both. Biochemistry is what its called.

  • @2010mib it is both biology and chemistry...basically our body compose of chemistry...get it?

  • Okay, this is why people get addicted to drama! There is a natural sugar rush, and the barin doesn't care where the source originates from.......just wants more! Enabling a cycle of abuse/drama......

  • Head.. SPLODE!

  • omg complicated. i thought i was smart before I saw this.

  • just watch the movie crank and ull understand this crap better :)

  • Me too... I was thinking, Will I use this as a visual aide for my report...(so all of us will be confused!!) LOL

  • @dddtorro It's actually quite simplified.

  • @dddtorro i have an exam on Monday, this cAMP is one of 12 lectures that are included in this exam , wish me luck !

BTW the lecure is much more complex

  • @dddtorro lol me tooooo!
