Why don't they paint the helmets of the two opposing teams on the field anymore-regular season or playoff games? I know this originated in Kansas City at the old Municipal Stadium and was a part of many Super Bowls that followed
@dankidd29 Do you have these games converted to VHS or DVD format? If so I'd be interested in buying a couple games from you. Let me know and you can messege me and we'll talk price. Thanks!!!!
A FRIEND OF MINE SHOWED ME THIS 8MM FILM BACK IN 1969. THIS WAS THE FIRST SUPER BOWL THAT I SAW BACK ON JANUARY 14, 1968. AS AN A.F.L. FAN I WAS HOPEING FOR A RAIDERS VICTORY, BUT OAKLAND DID NOT PLAY WELL. TWO CONSECUTIVE SPECIAL TEAMS MISTAKES LATE IN THE SECOND QUARTER COST THEM . BLANDA'S MISSED FIELD GOAL AND BIRD'S FUMBLED GREEN BAY PUNT HELPED THE PACKERS BREAK OPEN A TIGHT 13-7 GAME.
@fairnorth plus, they were riding a loser qb,in lamonica, he always came up short in the big game, he lost 3 straight conference champinships... he was a loser, so glad the chiefs beat him up in the last AFL title game, cause he would have choked vs the vikings... he woulda kept throwing bombs vs a team that you can't do that to...that's why god willed the chiefs to throttle the raiders', cause the AFL needed eternal respect, and a choke-shot loser like lamonica wouldhave embarressed himself ...
Funny, ESPN uses this SAME footage, onlty much better quality. ALl this is, is ESPN highlights. This sin't game footage
