i disagree with anoldnightengale, i thought your scooping was appropriate for the piece, but not so much the intonation... however, this was the best recording i coudl find on youtube to listen to to get familiar with this song, good job!
@sopranolys91 Thank you... it was only a rough practice take.. so I am very pleased I've got some good comments... it all depends on the recording and the accoustic I think.. and I'm no expert at that..
@huddybudy Hi sorry for the delay? I am soprano, mezzo and alto! I have no idea.. but my teacher/s have recently said I could be mezzo or soprano.. due to dark colours and strength in the lower... but my top is also getting freer..

I prefer to be soprano really, but I love being able to sing lower too... it gives me more repertoire/styles.

I thought you did a good job on this. Again, you have a very childlike voice, like a choir boy singing in a cathedral. You should capatilize on that! Just one thing, watch "scooping" down whn you go to the next note (but you only did it once) sounds like you've been working hard!
I love both videos, but I think I enjoyed the other more. With this one, the the lengthy notes carved air into the depth of sound that I still, nevertheless, enjoyed. It is the soft flutter of wings that a bird makes over a cemetery. The soft wind laps at the long branches overshading the cold granite. The merciless blue of the night sky drips down over the music and encases the sound in the cobalts of night.

@anoldnightengale Hi - the swooping is exagerrated here because of the echo I added..
