while i've experienced it in boston many times, in pasadena 4 times & in new orleans once, i've never had the opportunity to experience it in nyc, even though it is so close to boston.
It was delirious to remember that day. I was nearer to the Tower and I remember something like a heart beating, sounding very loud the last ten seconds before 12 midnight. The fireworks were spectacular and afterwards that electrifying blue light all over the Eiffel Tower, was magnificent, united to the spot flashing white lights. I must say that it was one of the best options to receive the New Millennium indeed. Thanks for reminding me such good old moments. It's almost a decade from that day!
Very nice! The Eiffel Tower looks like the Rockerfeller Center Christmas tree in New York City. I am from Staten Island, New York, U.S.A.
