@mitavittuaaaa I was a teenager the first time I saw this film too. I knew it was good, but I just did not fully grasp it. I recently just re-watched it about 6 months ago now at the ripe age of 27 and it REALLY effected me. Do yourself a favor and watch it again now that you are older.

I caught this after seeing The Tree of Life which has effected me more than any other movie I can remember. I loved both - I could see echoes of the vision in both. It seems you either get Mallck's work or you don't. It makes you feel even more think - I guess most visionary work has a polarising effect - take Picasso for instance. I am so glad that in the days of 'safe' movie sequel fodder like Twilight, Transformers and Pirates of the Caribbean, someone can still make a movie like this...
