  • This song was sang by Julie Yousif an Assyrian Singer from USA Michigan! Happens to be my sister I love you sis....great job on the song! Khaya Ganakh Julie

  • @jinayousif Was this song sung originally for this episode? Or was it adopted from an old album? And are there other Assyrian songs used on other episodes please.

  • @jinayousif

Coul you tell me, please, the original title of this song, and the other one in Xena's sondtrack "furies dance"? Thanks a lot

  • Can you give me the lyrics of the song in original language assyrian? i love it much, thanks!!

  • This music was in the episode Heart of Darkness aka episode 3 of the sixth season when they are in the temple and Xena and Gabrielle are dancing in front of Lucifer. The song from Girls Just wanna have fun would be in the volume two soundtrack probably one of the first five or so songs ?

  • The song in this episode is called "If you want the love you've got to drink the blood"

  • @lokain123 im looking for this song .please sent me the link with this song?

  • what is the real name of the song from the episode girls wanne have fun.

when the vampire girls are dancing in the cave from baccus ??? can someone help me please ?? becouse this isn't the right song i think .

  • @speciosa You're right it's not the right song. I put images from Girls Just Wanna Have Fun which was a mistake unfortunately =( The song you are looking for is not found on any of the Xena soundtracks.

  • @hiddenstrength . ow pity , it was a nice song

  • Can you please give me the name of the song..Thank you!

  • @Dmitri1112008 The name is Pas De Deux Femmes

  • does anyone know which season this episode is from??

  • @EQgamer4life Season 2. But I made an error in this video, this song is from 'Heart Of Darkness' which is from Season 6. I got mixed up since they are is a Middle Eastern sounding song very similar to this in Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (S2).

  • what language is this song in?

  • @Passions55 Assyrian. The translation is in the description box up top :)

  • Have been looking for this. Thank you!

  • Whoa those lyrics fit perfectly with Xena and Gabrielle's relationship. The music is so sexy and sensual just like that dance in Heart of Darkness.

  • the scene where gabby bites xena just oozes sex....

  • is this the same song they use for the scene in the epidode "the Furies" where they are dancing for ares?

SOme of it sounds so similar. i really want that song!

  • @kaidonia Yes, part of it but not entirely. Pieces of this song are featured in three episodes:

    Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

    The Furies

Heart of Darkness --- the main body of the song is in this episode, where Xena and Gabrielle do their dance together. It's hot. lol

  • Maenads and Bacchaes, so sexy :D

  • a great episode!

  • this scene is all about Xena having an orgasm

  • @izizful LMAO! I know, right? Screw the whole bacchae/vampire thing, it was just an excuse for Xena to get a little nookie from Gabby, lol ;)

  • @hiddenstrength well of course I mean just look at that hehe they had to do it some how

  • why the title is in french?? i loce this song!!!

Xena, c'est pour la vie, ca a commencé un jour...ca continuera pour toujours!!!!!

  • la musica de xena es espetacular!!! y tope sensual como esta =)

  • LUV IT!!!! can't stop listening!!!!!!

  • Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (O Terrível deus Baco): Para salvarem algumas jovens de serem transformadas em bacantes, Xena, Gabrielle, Joxer e Orfeu lutam contra o deus Baco. Como apenas uma bacante pode matar Baco, Xena é mordida por Gabrielle (Bacante) propositalmente, e se transforma em Bacante, e aparentemente o mata

  • Qdo foi isso q eu num vi?!

  • Assyriagrl was kind enough to provide the English translation to the lyrics of this song.

I have posted them in the description box if you are interested.

Thank you again assyriagrl! Really appreciate it

    =)

  • this song rocks! haha idk how many times ive just listened to it, but i just love it.

    :) ♥

  • I have the translated lyrics from Assyrian to english if you like?

  • i would love that. thanks. :)

  • does any one know what language it is in.

  • It's Assyrian Which is Neo-Aramaic. :) I am Assyrian.

  • I always thought Gabby looked neat as a vampire in the picture and this song here was always awesome...

  • great light! I can see it only in dark so there's not much to see as in this video.Good.

  • this was also in the heart of darkness episode

  • If I had to guess, I'd say the language was either Persian, Kurdish, Pashto or Urdu. If it was something Semitic (Arabic, Hebrew or Aramaic), I daresay I would understand way more of it. The language sounds more Indo-European (for one it's not Turkish, since Turkish apparently does not have the "kh" sound heard here).

  • The language is Assryian! Only Assyrian!

  • from what i read on the pofile of Xena Warrior Princess on wikipedia for the type of music on Xena the songs not sung in english are of Bulgarian language i think. in case anyone was wondering.

  • Comment removed

  • Yes but not all - this one is not in Bulgarian...it reminds me of the gypsy songs

  • This one is in Assyrian. :))

  • I LOVE ANYTHING XENA

  • What language is this sung in?

  • It is Assyrian. :))
