I lived in Lynwood from 1973-76 as a young boy, my family flew in from the UK £10 each as i recall (£10 Pommie?) I have now lived in Perth's north suburbs for 9 months I work in the city and from the air it is pretty as the video shows :) I get to see the city empty and it is so nice between 2am and 4 am, I also saw loactions that I visit regularly such as The Bankwest tower, (2nd highest building in Perth for the time being) and Central Park/St Georges Tower (the tallest building in Perth for the moment as BHP Billiton are having a new building built that will be tallest) Thanks for the vid its great :)

Cannington isn't actually a town, it's a suburb in the southern suburbs of Perth. It's an inland suburb on the Canning River about 15kms south of Perth CBD. It's about a half hours drive to the beach and it's a major shopping area with a large mall called Carousel in the area. It's quite nice by the river, the shops are very handy but there are some rough suburbs around it as well.

It's big but small if that makes a bit sense. the people are really friendly and open to foreign people. and the climate is great of course
and i've got some more stuff for ya though.. the swam river if great. you can sometimes see dolphins jumping above the water! wicked hey. you see ute's everywhere (the cars). nightlife is nice but its mainly in northridge not in the centre. the life is really laidback compare to the dutch rushed life. everybody just does what he feels like doing. the beaches are wonderful but quite empty (weird huh?) and rottnest island is fantastic (an island near perth) got quakka's there (mini kangaroos)
haha well could be but i don;t think that's it. it's probably because the weather is always great there and people are so used to it that they just sometimes go there if they just feel like it. they just get there bathers on and hop in the car and they're at the beach within 20 minutes. you won;t see one umbrella or what so ever. you should check out some rottnest island movies on youtube. you can go surfing in the south at margareth river. or up to scarborough beach. and they ALL walk on thongs

That was a great video. I went for a similar joy flight and it was a truely excellent ride. You get to take in just how beautiful and diverse our beautiful state is.
My family came to Perth when I was 4.
24 years later I have no desire to live anywhere else. It's trely an awsome state to live in. The national parks offer some of the best scenery in the country.

Perth is best city, Pink Floyd is best music, the stuff is filmed well. So there's nothing wrong with the video. Just the reflections of the windows of the heli are little annoying. But you couldn't kick the windows out of the heli, so it really istn't your fault.

Perth is best city, Pink Floyd is best music, the stuff is filmed well. So there's nothing wrong with the video. Just the reflections of the windows of the heli are little annoying. But you couldn't kick the windows out of the heli, so it really istn't your fault.
A pretty nice work.

Thanks for that. Yep you can fit up to 4 adults I think, it is through Heli West in Perth. Glad you liked it.
