Wow. That's so true to form , all you need is Hans Shisekellar to tell everyone he's too much of a musician to appreciate this , then , not back up the claim.
I can play that on a guitar. As a matter of fact it's the only thing I can play on the guitar, and it's the only thing I ever wanted to be able to play on the guitar. For the job: You need silver-plated flat-wound Pyramid strings. 13 gauge. The kind of strings that mortal guitarists can't hold down without going flughzzz.
Oh, tell a lie, I can actually play "Walk Don't Run", too.
@salvadory No, no he isn't, he left with dexies midnight runners wife and they both got run over by a train in glasgow central station, he had a balloon fetish
I saw the Barbican tribute gig and I thought The Captain's performance was breathtaking. Its a pity that no one has any footage of his version of FLAMING,but this is a double tribute to two great men.
@ronnie7749 i hope i decect irony in your statement...never the best guitarist on stage due to drink but a master in the studio...but what a great player in a band...if it wasn't for sensible then i'de not have picked a guitar up as a kid and not want to learn...genius!
Captured exceptionally well. Knowing how the Cap loves the early Floyd, I bet you he adores playing that. If I played guitar, Domine's solo would be my priority to learn.
Check out Gilmour's version, live at Abbey Rd in 2006, on You Tube!
If Captain was true to himself, he would admit he's not just a fan of the Syd-era Floyd. You can see he's a fan of the early 70s stuff too. It's obvious Captain - embrace it. Life's too short!!
spot on-he obviously gets it from the inside to do such a classy job-exactly right for a SYD TRIBUTE-!

Still think he is the most understated guitarist around and his nursery like lyrics are very Barrett
And this is here to prove he can step into syds shoes
Great version off the best floyd album
