I would just like to say that this is one of my favorite songs, and that your daughter did it an incredible amount of justice, especially being so young.
@xohsnapp typically this is a soprano part.... but any number of woman could sing it even being an alto because the tessitura isn't very high for this piece. Hope that that helps.
It's actually a mezzo part, but Bymyslf74 was correct saying it's a song almost any vocal part can sing. The original singer performed it with a belt, so that makes it harder for sopranos. They usually just sing it without a belt.

i do notice, however, that when she goes for the more difficult notes that she tries to hit strongly she pulls her neck up and out. I would advise not doing that because it can strain the vocal chords a lot which, over time, can damage the voice. I'm saying this from personal experience and trust me it is not fun.
