My parents never gave me a mug.. but i can see the reason behind it, little kids spill icecream everywhere, and if it's in a mug i guess it won't fall out as easily.. but i could be very wrong and maybe it's just a joke that all parents have together and we don't know about it.
When I do that, I microwave it and drink that sonofabitch.
