I have it in Rosy Glow, which I got because... I don't know why.. But I don't like it. It's really hard to build up the color and my Mac one only produced oil when I FIRST opened it and from there on out it wasn't an issue, same with the Stila Convertible Color.
Hi :) do you know if it contains mineral oil (ugh!) or is oil free? Also, what is the best shade for fair skin? I am not the palest one can be (such as redheads who cannot tan) but I don't tan much, and am pretty light. I use fair foundations, porcelain or number 1....the lightest. I prefer a pink toned blush. Any ideas?
THANKS! :)
PS - in an emergency, regular lipstick can be worn as a blush! I've done it and it actually worked fine. It was Arbonne.
@beckylink I am not sure about the mineral oil. Sorry- as far as shades this is the only one I own so i am not really sure- each store has different shades they carry also. the one I have would work if you use a light amount.
Hey Lisa , im on the search for a cream blush ;) , and id like to know what is your ALL TIME favorite cream blushes .. high-end or drugstore i dont mind :) !?
Thank you sooo much for this review! I haven't wanted to spend the money on a high end cream blush but am really curious and this looks like the perfect option for me!
you mention that you keep it in your travel set... can you show us what you travel with including everything and not just makeup? certain bags you use, cases, mini sizes of things? thanks! Brooke
I really appreciate your quick, compact and honest reviews. I've been wondering about these blushes for a while... I've been really impressed with the Revlon Colorstay line in general, so thanks :)
I love the texture of the Revlon cream blush, but after two hours the stuff is completely gone. I've been using Ben Nye cream blushes instead. They are a bit harder to apply (thicker) but they last all day.
The best cream blush that is Estee Lauder Signature. The blush stays on for around 6 hours. IIts expensive coz it costs aroud 25 pounds bit its well worth and it lasts ages.
I really like the way u have done ur make up here..really suits you..lips, eyes, the dewy finish..can u do a tutorial? the only thing which I think is not working is the bronzer ..it is caked a bit and left muddy effect if you know what I mean...i think u are using a shade or 2 too dark for your skin..but the rest is amazing and would love to seehow you applied!!!
OMG!!!! Your reviews are so detailed and informative. You are truely a Youtube treasure. Keep the reviews coming. I have picked up so many products thanks to your wonderful reviews and have always been pleased. Keep up the great work. Thanks for all you do!!!!
great review, its a shame that in spain we cant get most of the revlon products, we dont have the nude attitude, and we dont have those lovely cream blushes :(
Lisa, curious , what is your favorite technique for applying ccb's? I have been using my stippling brush as it puts down a thin layer at a time making it buildable. Thanks for this review, I didnt know revlon made ccb's..LOL!!
LISA! You have to put a disclaimer in the sidebar saying you bought this with your own money or not. You got it for free or not and stuff like that because the FCT is fining 11,000 dollars for people who do not put that in the side bar to there reviews and even with products you are showing. I just wanted to say that so you won't get fined for 11,000 dollars. For more information PrincessPinkCat has all the info on it go check out her video about it!
I have read the articles and spoken to a friend who is a lawyer- there is no 11K fine and you only need to state when something is given to you for free or if you are paid in any way! I already state when things are free! Thanks for trying to help though!
I have only recently heard about this disclaimer thing, and really am in disbelief about it. How could anyone "patrol" all the videos that have alaredy been made anyways? Thank you for setting this straight Lisa, your explanation sounds right to me!
I would luuurve to see your travel set and thoughts on how to make one--everytime I travel I can't decide what to bring, the vanity looks like a bomb went off and when I get to my destination I have poor packing regret! It would be really helpful to give us a tour of your travel set!
