Baseball is unique in a way because you don't have to be a certain size to be good at one position, I can only play the line with my size in football, Pablo Sandoval, a 300 lb man, plays 3B and utilizes the glove relatively well. Shane Victorino plays CF and isn't exactly skinny either. I get your arguement, and I think baseball is kind of lazy also, though it still requires skill
