I agree- to a certain extent. I mean this is very personal, and I find it amazing that a fourteen year old is that in-touch with her emotions. But you've got to remember that she isn't just trying to appeal to her age group. There's the younger fans as well. She's trying to make herself appeal to parents too, if the parents don't approve she's screwed. Her sophmore album came back to the really moving personal stuff, so check it out!

ive noticed that when artists sign up to disney they all put on this false pretense and their music just becomes all happy and cheerfull about the same old make up and break up

i agree. in fact, i was just thinking about this. i mean, some of her songs are pretty okay, but they're nothing like this. these lyrics are beautiful, but now her songs have become more watered down and overproduced.

I agree- to a certain extent. I mean this is very personal, and I find it amazing that a fourteen year old is that in-touch with her emotions. But you've got to remember that she isn't just trying to appeal to her age group. There's the younger fans as well. She's trying to make herself appeal to parents too, if the parents don't approve she's screwed. Her sophmore album came back to the really moving personal stuff, so check it out!

yea, there are like 10 year old fans but I personally think that there are no "true" fans under 10 of Demi........ I guess Demi has to keep it young enough for fans that are like 10...... what do you think? =)

i think JB's music was way better in 2006 and they had some good song in 2007 i mean they are still amazing but it seems like every one was better off with out disney

I like most of their songs from this album and a few from their last two but I think I like almost all the ones from their first. I'm going to their concert though. I just wish they had their old sound ya know? and their personalltys seemed better, of course I don't know them personally

woww, i see alot of people are starting to see Disney past what they seem to be. so therefore i think we should say something! we all have voice! were the new generation lets do something about this mess! cmon guys, im already writing a letter to radio disney for changed lyrics. i mean all these artists we love put their heart and soul into their music and disney makes them change just because its not cookie cutter material. does anyone else see thats bad? or are we all blinded by fakeness?

just for the music video, because back then, it was more aimed for the younger kids. like.. 7-12
but now it's more for 13-17's. I like it better now. Because all the disney stars are growing up. i've grown up with them since they were little!! like dylan and cole. :)

yeah, i think i do..i went to her concert and i think almost everyone there were around 13-16.....
we relate better to songs about heartbreak and bullying, because it happens to us...most 5 year olds don't have a boyfriend....most 15 year olds do...

Totally agree! :) I went to her concert too and there were mostly 12- 17 yr olds. I saw a few like 7 yo olds but i'm sure they were there because they like her from SWAC and CR........ after the concert i'm sure the moms of the 5 to 7 yo olds were like " NO MORE....... to mature." Not that Demi has bad music I just don't think that her music is for young girls..... I have a 8 yo old sister and she can not stand Demi...... haha

anyway, i think demi's old songs are more "her"...disney made her change a bit...she should spread out from disney a bit...still her new songs do rock, and this is the way she can get famous, ya know? i mean, i'm sure she could in another way, but this is the quickest...

I Also Heard This Was About A Girl. Many People Have. I Don't Know If It Is Or Not. But She Doesn't Mention A Gender, Like She Doesn't Say, 'He, Him, His," ect. So For All We Know, It May In Fact Be About A Girl. It Would Make Sense. People Would Try To Speak Negatively About Them. No, they'd keep it private incase it'd ruin their careers. I'm not saying they are for certain, it's a possibility though. Demi said somewhere in an interview that she wrote this about a date she went on with someone very close to her. So it is a true experiance. But sure whatever, I love Demi no matter what :P
