I had this album when it was released! I have downloaded the Italian version for my IPod, but couldn't find the French original.
The strings are awesome indeed - they're just asking for someone to steal them for a remix.

This music was so ahead of its time it's untrue.
Fantastic stuff, I still listen to this today and very little compares. Class from start to finish!
