@mistahxdaniel What I have seen is that guitarists usually blend the most significant and dominant bits of every guitar part they came up with in the studio, and create a single orchestration to play live. John kinda disects chords all the time, so he kinda plays lead and rythm simultaneously. It´s like you place your fingers to play a chord, you play the whole 6 strings, and then take advantage of the remaining echo, but start making hammers on and pulls off with your "pinky" finger...
