  • It's interesting to watch these videos, even though they kinda make me feel like a creeper lol ^^

    Thanks for posting these!

  • It's nice to see some actors get together and chat, even though Anne didn't speak (kinda prefer that way to be honest lol). I enjoyed when Brad and Frank talked :)

  • why isnt anne hathaway talking? and frank is awesome!!!

  • thank you, mickey, for being the voice of reality and thx for posting

  • i love oscar season

  • who is the other woman, not Anne Hathaway?

  • @trulysarcastic

Sally Hawkins from "Happy Go Lucky". She's also been in a lot of leading roles in her native England. Look her up, she's quite a brilliant actress.

  • @vekacity thank you.

  • Saw iron man 2. Loved rdj, saw 1st one, looked up rdj. Drugs and arrested. He inspired me to get back into acting. I may be 13 but be prepared 4 me when im about 19!

  • @Cassidyequalsinsane Yes! We need more actors playing comic book characters. Please hurry, they won't last long. That's what acting is all about. That and doing drugs and getting arrested. How inspiring!

  • that bloody fan does my head in, struggle to hear what their saying sometimes. some of the most famous people in the world yet slung in some stupid bloody room... idiotic journo

  • Wow. I love how robert's brain works so much faster than everybody elses. He's a boss. A very adorable lovable boss. That you'd want to work later hours with.

Oh wait, it's not a literal boss is it?

  • "I'm way to self important to blow smoke up your ass". Robert Downey Jr. is awesome.

  • the most hansome men :brat pitt.robert downey jr & mickey rourke.

  • By Bonner I think he mean that Alan Parker was hyped to get started thinking he has the best 2 guys in Hollywood on this flick and then he realized that Rouke was a complete "in his own words" fuck stick and was gonna make shooting the movie a major pain... and so his bonner was deflated.

  • I love Robert Downey Jr's smile !

  • dang micke y, why did u have to get the plastic surgery..u were perfect

  • Mickey Roarke is the fucking man..."boner" ...classic

  • what does he mean alan parker had a boner? seems out of place

  • @KulaAShaker If that has to be explained to you than you don't deserve to listen to these geniuses of acting speak.

  • @KulaAShaker

It's an errection... he's just adding a little levity because anecdotes are usually boreing.

  • What was Brad saying from 4:04 about a myth in nine and a half weeks?

  • Who is the best actor on that table?

    bar fly?

  • VIVA EL ROURKE.

"RIUNITE ON ICE, GO NICE". what a commercial.

Thanks, Mickey. Now I got that stupid song stuck in my head again

  • Frank Langella i could listen to all day and look into his sexy eyes. :)

  • @80stimeagain Yes, I too. Frank is simply THE BEST!

  • What does Pitt say at 4:05?

  • "You got there in 'Angel Heart'"

  • I dig Brad Pitt and Mickey. I would have liked one of them to win. I'm tired of Sean Penn overload on the Oscars! Its been played out.

  • ya, Brad Pitt seems like a guy I could hang with, certainly no douche like Penn. Mickey Rourke... well he's the fucking man

  • Pitt is gracious to say Micky Roarke was one of his 'Gods' along with Sean Penn and Gary Oldman. He has great taste.

....I could look at Brad all day...

  • Agreed, in the past Mickey was my idol, too. Who don´t want to be so manly? But I don´t wanna be a chainsmoker. Isn´t it a wonder, that the still has hair, two legs, a complete lung and a larynx?

  • vittopossilipo like in the restaurant while Rourke slurps his noodles...cool

  • Thank you!!! At last someone has recognized it!

And what´s the story behind your pseudonym?

  • Pitt is smug

  • As an aspiring actor, I too worship Mickey Rourke. Should I ever get to meet him, I'd definitely would like to know why he lost interest in the business after being on top of the world. I'd be like, "Dude, why? I understand it could be a cutthroat, demanding universe, but you've made people happy with your performances!" He should take into effect on how many actors (including Brad Pitt) were so influenced by his work

  • Robert Downey Jr and Pitt worship Mickey.

  • Holy shit Rourke a legend.

  • Rurke is soooooooooooooooooooo much hotter now than when he was in 9 1/2 WEEKS!!wraaar:)

  • Brad Pitts one of my favourite actors :)Screw those who don't like him!

I send my love from New Zealand!

  • I love Brad Pitt too! He is so misunderstood and under rated because of his good looks and the envy that he receives. New Zealand rocks!

  • pitt is such a moron

  • jajajajaajajajaj

I speak really bad english...some parts are dificults for my but...I AGREE!!!!!

    jajajajja

    He´s some moron...YES!

    JAJAJAJAJ

  • Mickey still has that sexy thing going with the eyes and mouth. Love him!

  • he is in ironman 2 its official look it up on rotten tomatoes

  • Mr. Rourke, when he talks people listen. Just something about the guy that is magnetic. His brain works a different way. I think in Ruble Fish they called it an acute perception. Sometimes a curse sometimes a blessing.

  • Nine 1/2 Weeka was made 23 years ago. Mr. Rourke and Ms. Basinger were in their early 30s. Sorry, but this movie was waaaay before its time and Hollywood was even more political than it is today.

The movie speaks volumes about so many things -- things that were still being swept under the rug in the 80s.

  • where the heck r they couped up in someone's garage? this is pathetic!! these r movie stars!

  • I cannot believe the sh%$^y audio quality of these videos. these are great actors sitting and talking about interesting things about there career, it is so frustrating to listen to it with harsh (white noise) in the background...man I feel like Christian Bale right now I wanna yell at the guy who was in charge of the audio recording of these great discussions. Somebody should fire that guy

  • It was said, Rourke doesn't act heavy, he is heavy. I really hope he gets the Oscar.

  • I like listening to Frank.

  • I agree, Frank is so classy and yet has that actor's intensity. So much depth. Most people here like Rourke, I do too but Frank is the daddy here, and the real "actor's actor". So many years of theater work. How about Frank and Mickey doing some work together!

  • Yes, me too. He looks marvellous for 71, does he?

  • Brad's so gracious. I love his humility. Downey's an absolute card of course! Langella's subdued nature is such a contrast to his terrific screen and stage presence

  • what kind of commercial did rourke say?

  • I realized i wanted to be a famous musician when i was watching a video on youtube and i just go thtese goose bumps when the band started jumping around and the crowd singing along and yelling i just thought " omg thats what i want i want to have those people screaming and singing along to my music " ever since then i cant stop dreaming and am trying everythin to learn guitar and its not working well

  • "I'm way too self-important to blow smoke up your ass!" The words coming out of RDJ's mouth; I'm ROFLING!!!

  • i enjoyed this vid... i relized that i wanted to be a director when i was 15 it just came to me... i was always with my camera filming the most random things especially my family and one day i just opened my eyes and realize this is what i want to do for a living... know i'm 17 and i'm hoping to go to LAFILM school

  • tmartha don't stop realizing your dream. I always wanted to be a director as well and I just got accepted into the LA Film School, and I will be taking the directors track. So stay focused and your dream of being a director will come true.

  • thanks... everyone keeps telling me i'm an idiot for wanting to take that path but i'm fasinated with the whole process of directing... i'm planning to maybe go next year i want to save up some money first... good look in film school

  • Thank you don't let outside forces discourage your dreams.

  • "Riuniti commercial" FTW !!!!

  • What is that anyway?

  • Riuniti is an inexpensive wine that had some really tacky commercials back in the day .

  • uh huh! Thanks for the explanation!

  • I would love to see RDJ team up with Brad Pitt. I think they are both quite comfortable around each other and could have a very convincing chemistry on screen. Plus they are both handsome and are two of the best in the business. How humble was Brad Pitt, when he was talking about Rourke?

  • MICKEY ROURKE ON BRAD PITT:

"...there's some movies that he did that are some of my favorite movies. LEGENDS OF THE FALL..I thought he was great in..ya know,he's always very consistant...ya know,he always,I think...he doesn't rely on his pretty face, I think he always tries to go beyond that, ya know...and show that there's a lot more going on aside from that. Sometimes It's tough for a guy thats so good looking to go beyond that, and he makes a really strong effort to transcend his beauty".

  • I'm in love with Mickey Rourke. I swear. He's just this incredibly sensitive, intelligent, sexy, rugged, beaten up bear of a man. You can tell there's a well of emotions hidden underneath his cool and reserved demeanor. He's a raw nerve

  • I totally agree with you.

  • They should let Mickey talk more. Hes more interesting then anyone in that room.

  • He is. I think that every person who has been down and out can relate to him, he seems more real because he's been there. I'm not trying to say that the others are shallow and privileged, especially RDJ who had fought his own demons, but Rourke appears to have much more depth than most actors today.

  • Couldn't agree more.

  • I love these guys, i could listen to robert and mickey talk for hours. they are amazing. I can't wait for them two to work together it will be incredible.

  • robert is soo funny and hot :)

  • I loooove what Langella said about running towards yourself... It's truly hitting acting on the head....

  • All these men are sooo interesting and attractive in different ways. Brad has good taste to name Sean Penn, and Mickey Rourke as his 'gods' when he was coming up in the business. Rourke, Pitt and robert downey are so cool, but in different ways. Love this conversation!

  • don't forget Gary Oldman

  • Yeah....I forgot who the other one was that Brad said he admired. Thanks!

  • Comment removed

  • Just realize...2 out of the 3 actors Brad admires....were in "Friends" lol...Gary Oldman and Sean Penn (dammit wish Mickey was too)...oh and Brad too! LOL

  • Even Robert Downey loves 9 1/2 Weeks. I fell for Mickey when I saw the poster in a magazine. And of course after seeing that movie, I just went crazy about him. My friend used to tease me for that.

  • I wish Rourke hadn't been quite so subdued, I find him to be much more interesting than all the others put together. He outshines them all.

  • mickey was my fav actor since i was a kid...n now to see him back at top is just amazing....he is a fighter inside n out... oscar goes to ......mickey rourkeee

  • Ha ha every actor loves Rourke.I had always heard that but I guess it's true.

  • Frank is soo sexy. The other guys can't hold a candle to him.

  • He is indeed.
