@sirdaveysockrocker You don't want to do that, the quality will horrendous, I don't think there is a program that will do that, maybe some code, but I highly doubt it. The resolution for a dpg file sucks and when you convert a video (as with any other video) you'll always lose some quality, and you'll be most likely be stretching it out to a bigger resolution creating a lot of pixelation in the video. I don't recommend it.

I'm having the exact same problem right now as kingofblades, i copied monshell directory after extracting it to my desktop to the cyclos ds directory and when i put it in my nds it says its not installed.

I'm using Cyclods Evolution v1.55, and I can't get moonshell to work on it for anything. I downloaded the folder off ur site and put it on the main directory of the MicroSD, but when I go to select it on the CycloDS, it says Moonshell has not been installed. I have looked at every tutorial I can find, and I can't get this to work for shit.

hello i load all the 4 files onto my sd card ,i then create a folder called games,i then copyand paste the games into the games folder and i try each game.I loaded 3 games up and they worked fine ,i then put another game on the sd card and when i tried it on my ds it came up with the error.."Couldn't find_DS_MENU.DAT". Can anyone help please.I then put the sd card back in the pc and now there is nothing on it.

You do have to convert videos in order to play them on MoonShell. I've just been to lazy to come out with another guide, but I'll make it soon. It doesn't matter wha kind of storage you have, just select the name of the flashcart on the list. So if you had an r4, you would pick R4 on the list.

Are you running the CycloDS MicroSD or MiniSD, the versions of the CycloDS where you insert the memory card in the Game Boy Advance slot? Or do you have the CycloDS Evolution, where you insert the MicroSD into the Nintendo DS cartridge slot? If you have the Game Boy Advance slot versions you will need to do find version 1.6 for MoonShell (hard to find, but I'll try to find a copy for you), but if you have the CycloDS Evolution, what ROM image did you pick when you when you were installing it?

I took a look around and it looks like Team Cyclops (the makers of the CycloDS products) have their own specific version of Moonshell which is kind of weird. I tried going to their site to download the file, but it seems its that its over its bandwith limit (they have reached the number limit of visitors that can visit their site, which temporarily closes their site down). In the mean time I will try to find a copy of the MoonShell version for the CycloDS Evolution for you.

My moonshell only uses bottom screen. Its white with emoticons. Inside the shell file it came with skin folder that has pics of blue backgrounds. Its not using them...i click settin and skin but the only option is "internal" which leads back to my main menu of m3 ds real...how do i use the skins n change em?

Open up the compressed file that you downloaded and select and copy all the pictures in to a folder called "skin" which is inside the "moonshl" folder, your computer might should ask you if you want to replace the old skin files with the new skin files your about to paste, click either "yes to all" or "yes" for each skin file. After its done, put the cardin your DS, and there you go.
