    First broth has tons of blood, fat and bone chips if the meat has bones.

    It has deep flavour but also can be very heavy.

    If you want to eat healthy, you should throw it away.

  • My wife put some ground perilla seeds on hers. They are kind of hard to find. I did toast them before using.

  • Thanks for the recipe! Looks great and I"m looking forward to trying to make it again. The gamjatang we had in Korea I believe had ground perilla seeds sprinkled on top too. I believe perilla is the secret ingredient!
