I know it is 2 totally different sporting worlds but they both have their origins in Roman Pankration, hopefully era of fighters will emerge that can unify belts under both codes Klitschko vs Fedor under either code would be amazing!

His last fight against Haye was a typical example of a disgusting performance. The judges ,referee, all paid goons & stooges. So much for a great boxer ! Vitali, took Lewis' best punches and never once did his knee's buckle and he wanted to continue. To bad that Lewis retired and did train hard and give Vitali a rematch. Wlad was part to blame 4Haye hitting canvas and Haye was part to blame, because he couldn't amount any effective offense and was throwing wildly and getting off balance. There is a drive to try to get U.S. athletes interested in it again by setting up the 'Heavyweight Factory' run by Oliver McCall and Michael Moorer. It will take former basketball players and football stars and teach them boxing. To me, this isn't ideal. The decline in U.S. fighters participating in the sport has seen a sharp rise in european fighters coming through. Where were these europeans 15-20 years ago?

@CoffeeBeatsTea 25 out of 43 of Vitalis opponents were american and in all fairness were not as bad as the other 18 bums. The only quality heavyweight on that list is Lennox Lewis. That still leaves 42 bums. Wladimir Klitschko has had 56 fights 40 of those american and 55 of those are bums and 1 quality heavyweight in the early 90's Ray Mercer. Amazing how two heavyweights can have 99 fights between them and only face one heavyweight who anyone knows.
