@daRkjames99 ok dude, but people must go easy if they are overclocking for the 1st time. Tip for anyone: some of the clocks may not like being overclocked. shader clock on my card wont overclock without crashing drivers so i leave it. others only let you overclock less than 100mhz. some maybe more than 100mhz. run ATI tool and stress your GPU and look for artifacts while looking at TEMPS.

Also heat ranges well above the norm on load for the card can damage the card aswell. google the average idle & load temps for the card and monitor them for awhile to get a feel for it and adjust fan speed accordingly on overclock if needed

how much and what speed ram you got is a factor aswell. id overclock it yes.but i think your processor will be the main drawback.you may need a half decent dual core to play comfortably. you can get good processor mobo deals on ebay. you know much about building PCs?its easier than you think, but in your case youd take the old mobo out and put the new 1 in, with all the drivers for it ready of course

do it as the vid says. dont go too big. do it in stages, i overclocked a 8400gs to the max safely.if you go too far the card will give defects to graphics in games or blue screen. so if bluescreen reset comp and lower the overclock and youll have a safe overclock

doesnt matter really, as long as you dont jump to the top of the level. just go for core clock or all of them, put them up about a quarter and see what happens. then maybe increments of 10 at 1st on each clock, the higher you get reduce the

increments to about 5 then 2. put your graph up so you can see whats happening coz sometimes your clocks drop down. on mine i have to keep my shader clock below my core, but only a few below. and sometimes the clocks wont move, till you hit a certain point and they will jump up to that mark. just play with it for abit and see what you graph does, the run a game before and after and get the FPS. on the graph options you can get FPS showing while playin a game

i think the new Nvida driver is not supported by RivaTuner yet. if you but your mouse over the 2nd tab it says driver not supported. its been likethat for awhile now and the rivatuner makers havnt semed to release a version that does support it. either roll back your nvidea drive or wait till an updated rivatuner version is released
