Excellent. I am also glad to see that Mr Parry is still performing M R James' tales so brilliantly - 2011 schedule is on the Nunkie Company website. Must try to see this live.
DVD now available from the Nunkie Theatre co website. This story and Canon Alberic's scrapbook. I saw Robert Lloyd Parry's new show in St Albans the other day - every bit as good as the previous two.
Saw the final show of Oh Whistle in NYC the other night. Wonderful performance - it's a shame it didn't get more press. Hopefully Mr. Parry will return again.
You're telling me! At least you got to see it. I just found out about these NYC dates a few days ago, much too late. It's killing me that I, a longtime MRJ fan, didn't know about them.
Gorgeous rendition, from the couple minutes I can see and hear in this clip. Please come back! Or sell a video, at least!
juicewheez, if you're still reading, can you comment on the setting for the performance? And how well attended was it? Thanks.
sorry for delay in responding yohei72 - very small theatre on the 2nd floor in the upper west side (above a bar, so there was occasional bar noise). not more then 10 people at the performance i went to. thankfully a friend of mine had seen it the night before and told me i HAD to see. he was right.
Thanks. Robert Lloyd Parry is performing live shows of this and other M R James stories in New York (Oct-Nov '08) and other US and UK venues. Please click on "more info" link (next to added date in upper right corner)for further details.

The performances on these videos are superb! I hope I get to see one of the shows when he tours the UK.

Where is the rest of the video. Really enjoyed the actors adaptation. M R James as it should be.
