@mailcall3 healer gear. if yur going to be shockadin stack healer pvp gear any other gear like pvp sword shield etc u may want to stack sorta like a dps caster stuff like crit strike or some other buff.
aha Shockadin is dead couse you don't know how to play them... I have decent dmg, 9k in a 1-2 sec period... on ressiliance geared players, and instant heal for 5-8k every 5 sec when needed in S6 gear I only had problems with some very very good mages arcane mostly, fire is weak and frost they get me if they start to polymorph and eat and stuff like that...
shockadins were dead during Wotlk, my level 70 shockadin in TBC did more damage than this shockadin...not to mention the only times you ever really kill anything is when its 2-3v1 in your favor, and your survivability comes from the fact that nobodys worried about you enough to try to kill you .....i dont mean to be a mindless downer, but Shockadins were so bad during Wotlk....

Actually, w/ similar gear as yours i had a little more dmg outpot and a lot higher heals as a 90% holy, so yes, seems like shockas have been so nerfed over time it's no longer a smart pvp choice.

@jamieovcymmer complete waste of time, never ever gem str as a shockadin, as shockadin most of ur damage will come from holy shock and judgements, but spell power scales alot better with holy shock than str does for judgements plus with the spell power you'll b able to heal yourself which is what a shockadin does, being able to heal and keep themselves up while having enough damage to kill sum1
leveling my 3rd char atm a paladin , only 48 atm and levelling through BG and Dungeons as healer or shockadin and I love it. I burst every 50% or clothie with lower health pool down in no time. So much fun. judge, stun, shock, hammertime ^^.. and at least I have to press more buttons than an autoattacking retridin at that level. also always ending up with a sick amount of kills. I only got points in the holy tree atm but my shock is already critting for 1.1k max :)
There are two types, holy-retri is s standard shockadin w/ a mid-high dmg outpot, while holy/prot gives away the retri dmg boosting talents for a higher survivability. Both are pretty much useless now that a lot of peeps have like 35-40k HP, it'd take a lot of time, mana and effort keeping yourself alive to take some1 down.
maybe would better for you to first try to find some stuf on thist topic before shouting anything that cross your mind. Shockadin doesn´t mean holy paladin

@wowonthetop Holy 5 set and Ret Off works well too. Holy Shock deals a respectable amount of damage regardless of your targets gear (Blizz has its damage plateau so we can always hit strong with it). The AP from the Ret offset pieces really juices up Exorcism, Judgement, ShoR, and Consecration.

Of course you have to have a little more skill to play that set up. You have a ton more damage but you also don't have as much mana as in full Holy. You have to manage you mana well.
the 2.4.3 shockadins were the deal... this is just a shame, how powerless they are considering to the old times, when they could take down any well geared player in 2 sec.

I have a like a move to kill people really easily. I use Judgement, Execution, holy shock, (some times stun) and then all they need is like 1 more shock then that bleow 20% spell forgot what it was.... Really nice vid.

Also, in the game you cannot get a 2h weapon with sp. Shockadins use holy pala gear so sp is essential. That is why shockadins have a 1h weapon and shield.
you just run to ppl who are fighting with somebody and are at low hp...most damage are done by others not by you...im sorry but you hits are up to 1k and the only good dmg are your shocks...and why you're using 1h weapon? lol
I had a shockadin at 70. Couple vids or something on my profile. It was sweet because you could judge and cast holy shock simultaneously for upwards of 5-6k bursts. When people had less than 10k hp, it was quite the shock ;)
Shockadin its pure holy + crit from retri, ur retri 40 and holy 31 its use only for holyshock, thats neo-shock, its not shockadin anyway, but at least u dmging quite nice
@Toxicdollyz There are tons of Shockadin builds (wrote up a guide on the WoW forums). You can go deeper into Holy for more raw damage or Retribution for more crits, uptime and utility. Shockadin is a playstyle moreso a specific spec, especially now that isn't as mainstream as it was.
I don't know what it is about niche specs. I just get a lot more fulfillment and that sense of enjoyment when I watch something like as opposed to the millions of Mage or rogue videos out there. the notion that one can have fun in pvp without having to conform to the cookie cutter is the purpose of the game.

Hell yeah man i'm rocking mostly furious with some relentless and all the offset wrathful. Exorcism into holyshock together tags the target for about 8 or 9 k easy. Now that, dropping a judgement, concecration + stuns... that's a mess for them to figure out WTF?! just happened. :)
@imejoehiyalol Actually Shockadins are healers. The purpose is to talent and glyph to significantly increase damage output while sacrificing little to no healing.
yeah but they have no range :P If I can kite you on the outside you arent gonna land that crusader strike or divine storm and ill still be shocking the heck out of you :P Melee damage is great but useless if you aren't in melee range :)
@DramaMC Exactly. The idea behind the shockadin is not the huge burst. It is the fact that you are getting a ton more damage output, while losing almost none of the healing.

nice run man nice run, your a machine, your dps is kinda low but you a using a 1 hander, i recommend going up farther into the holy tree because the judgement buffs at the top are pretty sick and will increase judgement dps 2x, but you kick ass so if it work for you then gj if not keep doing what your doing beause it works
are shockadins good not only for damage but healing as well in arena encounters? im planning on making my paladin shockadin. i am currently 54/0/17 which i use mainly for healing. but i love hitting people with holy shock, exorsism and judgements.
back in 3.1 i wher a shockadin for pvp, i wher doing 2vs2 with a frost dk, and we both had really bad gear, but still we managed to get 1650 rateing, but here in 3.2 shockadins really fail. so i wouldent give it a try if i wher you.
Paladins are a support class, as such imo shockadin holy, or healprot are the only effective ones, unless you get an absurdly overpowered wep as ret your doomed to mediocrity and raiding till your eyes bleed. nice Video, 5/5

I just get a lot more fulfillment and that sense of enjoyment when I watch something like as opposed to the millions of Mage or rogue videos out there. the notion that one can have fun in pvp without having to conform to the cookie cutter is the purpose of the game.
I said it once, I'll say it again....well done. I would love to see more videos.

Hell yeah man i'm rocking mostly furious with some relentless and all the offset wrathful. Exorcism into holyshock together tags the target for about 8 or 9 k easy. Now that, dropping a judgement, concecration + stuns... that's a mess for them to figure out WTF?! just happened. :)

The point of being a shockadin is to be able to sustain yourself with your own heals while also having enough damage output to take people down.

yeah but they have no range :P If I can kite you on the outside you arent gonna land that crusader strike or divine storm and ill still be shocking the heck out of you :P Melee damage is great but useless if you aren't in melee range :)

@DramaMC Exactly. The idea behind the shockadin is not the huge burst. It is the fact that you are getting a ton more damage output, while losing almost none of the healing.

I am pretty much full holy (14 into ret) and i get waaayyy more damage then this. But I heal instead. cant burn anyonedown with the occasional 4k shock crit

This spec is nice in BGs if u have the gear but theres a BG ret spec u take very little damage and dish out alot more i think it works better than this.But if ur a holy pally without Ret gear this is a good way to get honor in Bgs

now i have relentles all.,..crit and crit and crit...and meta for incrise crit dmg i can hit holy shock about 7k with ap BOM exocrism about 8k.... judgenent 4k .. and how to get relentless set? search for frend whitch is playing same shockadin like you ynd you will never get out of mana ... and never kill heal first in arena it is not posible just 2X repetence on heal and 2X stun o heal and dps is dead :D btw warior in 4Sec:D:D:D so this video is only begining on this way i think:P

If you want to deal dmg in bgs you should skill retri or heal if you want to support!
btw this shockadin is a fail^^ he just did dmg, and hardly any support:
and even if you crit up to 5k wiht holy shock you won't deal more than 2k dps even with wings^^
on the other hand with equal gear an retri spec you'd deal 3-5k dps^^

nice run man nice run, your a machine, your dps is kinda low but you a using a 1 hander, i recommend going up farther into the holy tree because the judgement buffs at the top are pretty sick and will increase judgement dps 2x, but you kick ass so if it work for you then gj if not keep doing what your doing beause it works

are shockadins good not only for damage but healing as well in arena encounters? im planning on making my paladin shockadin. i am currently 54/0/17 which i use mainly for healing. but i love hitting people with holy shock, exorsism and judgements.

back in 3.1 i wher a shockadin for pvp, i wher doing 2vs2 with a frost dk, and we both had really bad gear, but still we managed to get 1650 rateing, but here in 3.2 shockadins really fail. so i wouldent give it a try if i wher you.
