Regarding installing drivers...on the PC the printer is connected to, you should have installed Additional Drivers under Printer | Sharing. Then when installing the printer on the workstations, the drivers are automatically downloaded to that work station. That doesn't address the problem of not being able to find the printer in the first place, though. Aren't computer's fun?

You can share a non network printer between windows machines, but on mac you can't find that printer, i've tryed. Mac's overuse of making it easyer also makes certain thinks impossible.

My roommate has a Mac-book down stairs so i should just be able to do that and my HP Printer will work ? Btw its going through a wireless router (connected Via cat5) which the router is only PHYSICALLY connected to the internet (everything else is wireless)

If you had any clues about how networking and Windows work, you would have known that:
1. Properly configured and shared printer will automatically show up in the menu just like you saw on your beloved Mac.
2. You can expand workstations or servers in the list when you search for a printer and see the printer that you are looking for.
3. And your usage of the control panel with simple view instead of the classic view blew away your credibility.

You need to reinstall the driver for your Windows keyboard, you can't type in upper case it appears.
