My wife and I drove from SoCal up to Sacramento for the 9/12 rally and had a great time. Thank you Norcal Tea Party Patriots for organizing such a terrific event! We loved hearing the guest speakers and band, and being surrounded by such patriotic, caring people who have been moved to action. Can't wait for the biggest Tea Party of all in November when we take back our Nation from the Communists and terrorists who are de-constructing America! Here we come!

My wife and I drove from SoCal up to Sacramento for the 9/12 rally and had a great time. Thank you Norcal Tea Party Patriots for organizing such a terrific event! We loved hearing the guest speakers and band, and being surrounded by such patriotic, caring people who have been moved to action. People can believe in anything they want. But they cannot honestly claim that what is going on today is something the founders would approve of. The founders warned again and again against big government. The left often points to Hamilton as an "advocate of big government". And it is true that Hamilton was not on the same page with Madison, Jefferson, etc. But even Hamilton would be disappointed at what is going on today.

I might give the tea parties my attention if they said exactly what it was they had disagreements with.
Specific criticism might help their cause.
Instead of saying what Chris Matthews was trying to say about them, they should focus on the specifics of what he said.
Respond to those specifics with evidence of whatever it is they felt was wrong.
Until they do that no one will give any serious thought to a boycott of any sort.
