@DJShadesUK It was shot in Yuriage, Natori City, Miyagi Prefecture. Just search "38.179291,140.943643" in Google Maps and you'll see the location of the flyover. This area was exactly in the middle of the famous live footage of the tsunami going up Natori River near Sendai City.
@John9612 Hi John, thanks for your reply, its a great help. I'm compiling a KML of the most striking videos, photos and stories from the Tsunami. So far I have probably identified the exact location of 60+ videos, a few photos and stories to give some geographical reference to what people are watching. What I've found interesting is, having never been to Japan, I can now recognise many landmarks, features and buildings of many of the east coast towns/cities! Again, thanks for your help :)

仕事に余裕ができて、見に行きましたが、歩道橋はありました＾＾
海の近くに実家がありましたが、土台しか残っていませんでした
ですが、何よりnworldtさん達が津波にのまれなくてよかったです＾＾

煙が見える方角にある閖中とは、昔部活で何回も対戦した。
まだこの地区には立ち入れない。
でも必ず閖上は復興する！！
また朝市に買い物に行きますよ！

あとの映像を見たらこの歩道橋だけがぽつんと残ってた。
車や家がぶつかったりもしたろうによく倒れなかったものだ。
