no you need bigger than 26 inch i just got 46 inch full hd and it is perfect i was gona get 55 inch but it was too big seems im sitting only 2 meters away from the tv. anyway to answer your question to see every thing well in games like cod were people can blend into backgrounds you need bigger tv

I have a 26inch samsung hdtv (see my video) andits a good size for my room, i wish that i waited longer and got a 32in, but i wouldnt go any bigger than 32in if you sit close to your tv, any thing bigger than a 32 at such a short distance away from your eyes is bad for your vision

That's kind of a silly statement. 46 Inches is bloody large for a bedroom TV. Fair enough if you sit 2 meters away from it but most people don't sit 2 meters from their bedroom TV. For instance I can only sit a max of like 5 feet from my TV because of where it is in my room. 26 - 32 is definitely the optimal size for MOST bedrooms. Keep 37 - 60 for Living Rooms. Also I know you see more detail on larger screens but ,owning both a 50' and a 32', enemies won't disappear on 26' - 32' TV's.

Don't worry about that, the great majority of PS3 games don't do anything higher than 720p anyway, so you're not missing anything...actually they can look better because they (the games) would be running at their native res instead of being upscaled.

the tv has like both HDMI and VGA ports. i guess samsung thought it was a better idea to add a VGA port because one tv is a lot more convenient and it cost's less.

I was looking around for a decently sized LCD HDTV for gaming but that wouldn't break the bank- 26" is perfect. Best Buy has them for about $399 - they're 720p, with a 1366x768 res. My Xbox 360 and Halo 3 especially should be great on something like that. Nice to see you trying out SC4- I love that game. This is also the first time I've seen the PS3 dash- kinda cool it looks like the PSP's one. Good video!

get a 24" 1080p Full HD instead.. when your sitting close to a screen (like you do with computers) youll see a massive diff between 720 and 1080

No doubt theres a BIG difference but the Xbox 360's older games are scaled up from 720 to 1080 so that's not "real" 1080p. Some newer games like Halo 3 are full HD, but since I'll be mainly using it just for gaming I'll stick to a 720p. My next laptop for 3d/video editing and some gaming will have a resolution of 1920x1200- now that'll be pretty sweet.

hey man im getting a ps3, but im wondering my monitor is a bit old, but it still is good, running at 1680x1060@60Hz, its a 21' LCD HP monitor, Model # HP f2105, Got it in 2005-2006 time, the Pc can connect S-video, Tv/Cable(s), Its a Hp media center pc, basically what im trying to ask is, if the pc has video inputs, can i just run it off that and run my games in full 1080p/720p, btw im going to get it repaired, becuase of a power button issue, i tryed the xbox360, i remembering it not working...
