Shit like this happens all the time, cops let people go when they shouldn't, and cops strong-arm people when they shouldn't. There's no way for a cop to know what the people are capable of and have to make a call on-the-fly. And even a second or two of hesitation could mean a life.

Its very easy for an officer to get into a mind set that doesnt align with most the general public. Its very important that an officer spend time with successful and honest law biding people as often as possible. This is why if you speak to an officer when pulled over with respect and in a calm voice and keep you answers short then you will be treated well.

Your racism and adrenaline rush attitude have no place in the Criminal Justice system. Comments like these put a bad mark on the rest of the Law Enforcement Community. Endangering lives by being in a pursuit isn't "cool." You're supposed to stop the threat if you can, and if you can't. Oh well. Police where I come from are respected for their integrity not their ability to flex their muscles whenever they can.
